Is Gareth ready for a Bale out from Madrid?

Has the Welsh superstar had enough of the Spanish sun?

Tottenham travel to the Bernabeu tonight, with hopes of taking more than just three points from Real Madrid.

With former fan favourite Gareth Bale set to watch the match from the stands, we make the Welsh winger a short-price to return to the club where he made his Spurs (Tottenham, sorry Southampton fans) at 5/2.

It’s just 4/1 that he departs Real Madrid in January, when a White Hart Lane homecoming would surely appeal.

Madrid, however, might only allow Bale to head home if Harry Kane comes the other way – with an exchange deal rated at 20/1.

A Premier League comeback seems certain for Bale, though, with Manchester United (3/1) in pole position for his signature.

Harry Kane, meanwhile, is odds-on (1/4) to play for Real Madrid or Barcelona in his career.

Asked about a possible move for Bale spokesman Paddy Power said: “Tottenham fans would love to re-sign Gareth Bale, so they can prove they’re not a one-man team – like when he was originally at the club.

“But there may be only one way they can Harry a deal with Madrid along. Still, it’s inevitable that Kane will go anyway, so why not Bale out on your own terms, Spurs fans?”
