Celtic are 9/2 to go domestic season unbeaten – but only half as likely to reach UCL knockout stages

The hoops face Rosenborg tonight, but our traders make them half as likely to reach the European knockout stages than they are to go unbeaten

Ah, Brendan.

Celtic face Rosenborg tonight in their Champions League Third qualifying round match in Norway, and we’ve got onto our traders to see where the punters’ money is going.

They make Rodgers’ men odds-on at 10/11 to reach Europe’s Premier competition, but a hefty 9/1 to actually progress to the knock-out rounds.

A little closer to home, though, and the Hoops are expecting another cake-walk of a season.

They’re 9/2 to remain unbeaten throughout the campaign, and massively odds on at 1/14 to claim ten titles in a row.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “Whatever happens in the Champions League, Celtic seem to have the Scottish title sewn up – outstanding.

“Their supporters will be hoping for Europeans nights against the likes of Inter, in a continental run – while the best cross-town rivals Rangers can hope for is a night at the InterContinental.”
