Watch: Alvaro Morata says emotional farewell to Real Madrid colleagues

Start getting excited now Chelsea fans!

Alvaro Morata’s megabucks move to Chelsea looks more nailed on than ever after he bade a tearful goodbye to his Real Madrid teammates on their tour of the US.

Chelsea announced last night that they’d agreed a fee of somewhere in the region of £70m with the Spanish giants for the star striker.

With just formalities to complete, Real Madrid have just released a video on their Twitter account of Morata emotionally saying adios to manager Zinedine Zidane and his soon to be former teammates, including Gareth Bale, at the club’s training base at UCLA in Los Angeles.

He then turns to camera and says, “Thank you very much for all and it was incredible to win here again.

“I hope that Madrid always win, as long as they don’t play against me.”

The clip suggests the deal is done and we’re making Morata 8/1 to be the top scorer in the Premier League this season.

It looks like Conte has a new man to hug and kiss next season. You can watch the video of Morata’s goodbye below:
