Arsenal have confirmed Arsene Wenger’s new two-year contract, with the Frenchman reportedly ready to go on a spending spree.

And top of his list is want-away Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, who we rate as 6/4 favourite to join the Gunners this summer.

Alexandre Lacazette (7/2), Thomas Lemar (5/1) and Marco Reus (11/2) have all been heavily linked.

But Wenger’s focus won’t all be on incoming players, he’ll hope to re-sign star man Alexis Sanchez, too.

The Chilean is 13/5 to stay at The Emirates, but evens to go to Bayern Munich.

Jamie Vardy rejected the club last year, but it’d be hard to imagine him saying no again and is a 7/1 shot to head south- while a controversial return for Cesc Fabregas is rated at 9/1.

Asked about a potential Arsenal transfer bonanza spokesperson Paddy Power said: “Arsene will want to celebrate his new contract, and what better way to mark the occasion than by signing some unknown kid from the French third division?

“In all seriousness, though, he surely has to spend big to appease the fans. Which may be exactly why he doesn’t…”
