Bonkers Premier League final day sees two punters share £250,000 Hotshot Jackpot

Two cute customers made the most of their last chance taking home £125,000 each...

If Paddy was left reeling after last week’s Hotshot Jackpot win, well now he’s been left on the canvas thanks to an Anthony Joshua-like right hand at the final bell as the £250,000 prize went for a second week in-a-row.

Amazingly, two punters from the Greater Manchester area – who only live about five miles apart – grabbed £125,000 each for correctly guessing eight anytime goalscorers in the final set of Premier Leagues last weekend.

With most players already planning which beach they’ll be boring their fans from on Instagram, defences seemed to be already on their holidays as an amazing 37 goals were scored in the league.

That was good news for our Hotshot Jackpot players, but our two winners still needed a little luck along the way.

Both our champs were sweating like Donald Trump after another White House leak, as the watch ticked into the final minutes of the season as they needed a goal from Swansea’s Fernando Llorente to net their share of the £250,000 pot.

Thankfully, the big Spaniard popped up with a strike with four minutes to go to send our winners into dreamland.

One of winners also put Mystic Meg to shame by calling that Manchester United youngster Josh Harrop would score on his Old Trafford debut and he didn’t disappoint, announcing himself to the world in the 15 minute with the opener against Crystal Palace. Big Sam must have been reaching for the gravy after that one!

So the final whistle has blown on our Hotshot Jackpot competition for the season and the £250,000 prize pot has been plundered a sweet seven times in total. That’s a whopping £1.9m in jackpots and consolation prizes for our lucky punters!

Now excuse us while we try and find the guys that convinced us this was a good idea! Until next season folks…
