Great Britain loves a vote, that’s official, but forget the snap General Election on June 8th – we’re giving Arsenal fans the chance to vote on the future of beleaguered boss Arsene Wenger.
With Gunners fans in turmoil over whether the Frenchman should stay or go, we’ve given them a chance to cast their vote – by foot – before the North London side face Manchester City at Wembley today.
That’s right folks, Arsenal fans are at arms over the clubs downward spiral. Just a couple of weeks ago, a video was captured of fans putting down their Quinoa and Pimms and throwing handbags over their long standing manager.
Something had to be done…
So after those clever folk (well, sort of) in the PP marketing team spotted the iconic Wembley Way has two perfectly-formed walkways, we thought we’d send two massive ‘WENGER IN’ and ‘WENGER OUT’ banners to the game and invite Gunners fans to vote with their feet.
We’re hoping to put an end to the embarrassing outbursts on Arsenal fan TV, by tallying up the results of the foot vote and revealing the results after today’s game.
