Make Sunday sensational with this 9/1 FA Cup double

The magic of the cup could come alive for you if this punt lands

Ah FA Cup weekends, love them or hate them they’re here to stay for now and let’s face it, you’d get bored if it was just league action week after week.

We’re starting to get down to the business end of the tournament with just 16 teams, including National League minnows Lincoln City and Sutton United, remaining in the hunt for glory in the Fifth Round.

With two games down for decision on Sunday, we’ve decided to have a forensic look and we’ve come up with a deadly double that could deliver for our punters at 9/1.

All the best FA Cup odds are on PP.com

Fulham v Tottenham, BBC One, 2pm

What’s that we smell? An FA Cup shock you say? You got it!

The wheels have come off the Spurs wagon of late, with losses to Liverpool and even more disappointingly to Gent last night – despite fielding their strongest side. So that has our cup upset senses tingling to begin with and then you have to add in Fulham’s excellent home record.

The Championship outfit have only lost a single home game in their last 11, so it is the case that Tottenham will have to storm fortress Craven Cottage for a win.

With Spurs likely to rest first teamers after their exploits in Europa League, we think a turn up on the books may be on the card here and we’re going to punt on the Cottagers at 7/2.

Blackburn v Man United, BT Sport 2, 4.15pm

We know we spoke about upsets above, well now it’s time to get back to reality with a bang as Jose Mourinho’s Man United make the short hop to Championship strugglers Blackburn.

There really is no chance of an upset here, if you’re to believe recent form. Rovers are floundering at the bottom end of the Championship with just seven league wins from there 31 outings this season.

While it seems there’s no stopping the Red Devils’ current march as they’ve only lost once in their last 23 matches.

We’re going to go with United to beat the (-1.0) handicap here at evens as they’ve conquered it in four of their last five and should pile more misery on beleaguered Blackburn.
