Punters grab double payout as shaky Man City defence costs Paddy six-figure sum

Our loyal customers were the winners as Pep’s leaky defence help pay out thousands of them

Well thanks a lot Pep Guardiola! For the second week in a row you and Man City have been costing us a fortune, but a least you’re making our loyal punters very happy!

Last week City’s embarrassing 4-0 loss away to Everton saw one of our customers land a whopping 800/1 punt on the correct score and Romelu Lukaku to score first.

Then on Saturday things got even worse for fans of the team from the blue half of Manchester as their defensive frailties reared their ugly head again at home to Spurs.

All the best football punts are on PP.com

It was all going so well for Man City as Leroy Sane and Kevin de Bruyne gave them a 2-0 early in the second half, delighting the thousands of customers who back them to win the game as it triggered our 2 Up – You Win offer.

2 Up – You Win sees punters paid out as a winner on pre-match singles on the Win-Draw-Win market if your team goes 2 goals up at any stage in the game in the Premier League or La Liga.

However, there was a sting in the tail for us as young England star Dele Alli would half the arrears just six minutes later. A sucker punch for Paddy followed as Heung-Min Son levelled the contest with 12 minutes left on the watch.

It would stay 2-2 until the end, leaving us counting the costs as we were forced to pay out on a Man City victory and all the punts on a draw. Of course thousands of customers were on the City win and, despite it losing as a bet, we paid out over a six-figure sum to our loyal punters anyway – You Beauty!

We really hope to see more Pep in City’s step soon!
