There’s nothing like a good shock in the FA Cup, and the competition’s Third Round didn’t disappoint in today’s 3pm kick-offs.
The biggest upset of the round so far came exactly where we told you it would, at the Den as League One Millwall pounced on Bournemouth of the Premier League to claim a highly impressive 3-0 victory.
Former Leeds striker Steve Morison opened the scoring for the Lions in the 26th minute against a much-changed Bournemouth outfit and Shaun Cummings doubled the lead four minutes into the second half.
That left seven punters anxiously waiting for over 40 minutes to land the whopping 60/1 shot of Millwall to win 3-0, and they were rewarded for their optimism in the third minute of added on time when Shane Ferguson finally picked off The Cherries.
One customer landed a sweet little £300 win for himself and they all deserve a slap on the back for calling the result correctly.
Elsewhere, a further seven clever customers landed the 40/1 wager of Championship Wolves to win 2-0 away against Stoke City from the league above.
Add to that another eight plucky punters who beat 16/1 odds to land Derby’s surprising 2-1 way success at West Brom and it wasn’t a bad day to back the little guy.
The underdogs will be looking to bite again tomorrow as five ties take centre stage and PP.com has got you covered for all those if you fancy a shocking Sunday in the FA Cup.
