Istanbournemouth: 19 lucky punters predicted 125/1 Cherries victory

Paddy had already paid out on Liverpool to win the game thanks to our "Two Up - You Win" offer!

Comments

Liverpool recorded their first 4-3 Premier League loss since November 2000 today, being put to the sword at Dean Court.

Bournemouth one-upped the excitement of yesterday’s games with arguably the comeback of the season. Jurgen Klopp’s side dominated the game early on, with Sadio Mane opening and Divock Origi doubling the visitor’s lead, all within 23 minutes.

Callum Wilson got one back for The Cherries, as substitute Ryan Fraser was brought down in the box by James Milner, but it still looked as though it was Liverpool’s for the taking.

Emre Can put The Reds 3-1 up just after the hour mark, and Paddy paid out. Our “2 Up – You Win” offer pays out when your team goes ahead by two goals at any stage in the game.

Now, this is where it gets exciting. Just ten minutes after we emptied our pockets on a Liverpool win, super-sub Fraser found the net to push Eddie Howe’s side back into contention.

Centre-back Steve Cook then volleyed home to put Bournemouth level, leaving 19 of our punters perched on the edge of their seats!

As the dying minutes of the game played out, it looked like it was all over. However, Nathan Ake took advantage of (yet another) Karius balls-up to give his side the lead in the third minute of injury time.

How they predicted it, we wish we knew. But 19 lads backed Bournemouth to beat Liverpool 4-3 today at 125/1, in one of the biggest shocks of the season so far.
