How does Jose Mourinho’s recent record rank among these managerial misfits

With no home wins in the league since September Jose's win ratio is in bad shape

Jose-Mourinho-&-Manchester-United-19000

It’s not been going well for Jose Mourhino of late. Sent to the stands for kicking a water bottle this week during the draw to West Ham, he has now racked up a whopping £288,000 in fines over the course of his time in England.

Old Trafford hasn’t been much of fortress for The Special One this season either, having only managed one win the last five Premier League games at the stadium. United find themselves 6th in the league, 11 points off the pace set by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.

Prior to taking over from Louis Van Gaal, Mourhino was leading Chelsea to one of the weakest title defenses in Premier League history. The damaging phase in the Portuguese man’s career ended in a total breakdown of relationship with some players and especially staff.

Win Ratio

We have looked at his win ratio for the last 20 Premier League games in which Jose has been in charge, then we compared it to some famously inept Premier League managers over similar stretches to see just how bad things are going for United boss.

Jose Mourinho – Last 20 PL games win ratio: 35%

Tim Sherwood – Last 20 PL games win ratio: 36%

David Moyes – Last 20 PL games win ratio: 32%

Steve McClaren – Last 20 PL games win ratio: 28%

Remi Garde – PL games win ratio: 10%
