2 Up – You Win! 5 times Our new offer would have saved punting heartache

We'll pay you out as a winner if your team goes 2 goals up at any point in the match

Nearly 11 years ago in Istanbul, AC Milan were 2 up after 39 minutes and three ahead at half time. The rest of the evening will  never be forgotten by any Liverpool supporter.

There’s something about these comebacks and the journey from despair to joy that makes a comeback story so good for fans and neutrals.

But no one ever thinks about the poor lads who backed AC Milan to win that night. After 40 minutes those punters would have already had their winnings spent, patted themselves on the back and began to regret not putting more on AC.

Our new ‘2 Up You Win’ offer is here to relieve this betting pain:

Back a team to win and if they go 2 goals up at any point in the match we’ll pay you out as a winner immediately

To celebrate this great new offer we have a look back at the most memorable games where ‘2 Up You Win’ would have saved punting heartache.

1. Liverpool v AC Milan: Istanbul, May 2005

2. Newcastle v Arsenal, Feb 2011

It only took Arsenal three minutes to go 2 Up against Alan Pardew’s Newcastle. The Gunners went into the break four goals to the good before a spirited Newcastle comeback was capped off by a Chieck Tiote thunderbastard. With our 2 ‘Up You Win’ offer Arsenal backers would have been payed out as a winner after 180 seconds of play.

3. Crystal Palace v Liverpool, May 2014

Liverpool had the title in their sights and were cruising against Palace, before the comeback which became known as Crystanbul occurred. Cue tears from Suarez and any Liverpool backers.

4. Arsenal v Spurs, Oct 2008

Three second half goals from Gallas, Adebayor and Van Persie put Arsenal 4-1 ahead with only 20 minutes left in this extraordinary North London derby. However, under new manager Harry Redknapp, Spurs managed two goals in the last two minutes to recuse a point.

5. Leeds v Liverpool, Nov 2000

It was a toss up between this game and the Man United 5-3 against Tottenham. But Mark Viduka’s 4 goals here swung it in Leeds direction. Dont @ me.
