Watch: Edin Dzeko sent off… For pulling someone’s pants down

Prepare to be baffled.

Comments

Watch the unbelievable incident unfold below, as Bosnia’s Edin Dzeko is given the red card for pulling down an opponent’s shorts.

Both Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Dzeko saw red in the 79th minute as Bosnia led 1-0. It seemed to kick off with Papadopoulos getting a little too close to the Bosnian, who reacted the only way he knew how. Frustrated with his attempts to snatch the ball from him, he reacted by pulling his pants down. Of course he did, what else?

Players from both sides reacted in hysterics, prompting a bit of a scrap at the corner flag. For a moment, we were a little bit worried it would turn into a mass pant-pulling spectacle.

Dzeko, who had already been booked, was shown a second yellow card for his nutcase behaviour, meanwhile Papadopoulos was given a straight red.

With both sides down to 10 men, Greece snagged a late equaliser deep in injury time. Justice for being kecked in front of thousands of spectators, and, well, ultimately the whole of the internet.
