After being the Jackpot hero for two customers who split £325k, Romelu Lukaku let thousands of punters down this week. He failed to find the net against Bournemouth and let down 65% of HSJP ticket-holders.
This week’s pot stands at £250k and we have Paul Ince’s top tips to win you the big money!
HULL V CHELSEA: EDEN HAZARD
I reckon Hull will make this one as difficult and awkward as possible. They’ll probably stick 10-men behind the ball and try to stop Diego Costa from getting any space in behind and have a shot. It’ll take a free-kick or a bit of clever magic from Eden Hazard to find the net in this one. It’s that type of game where it’s going to take something creative to break Hull down, and Hazard will be the man to do that. He’s one of the best players in the Premier League.
SUNDERLAND V WEST BROM: JERMAIN DEFOE
There will definitely be goals in this one. Even though Sunderland look poor and losing matches, they are scoring goals too. Salomon Rondon looks a great player for West Brom, but I am going to go with Jermain Defoe. He scored two last week when Palace did them over, and this time he’s on home turf. It’s a bonus that he also takes the penalties.
WATFORD V BOURNEMOUTH: TROY DEENEY
Has to be Troy Deeney. It should have been a surprise that they lost to Burnley earlier this week, but this league is madness – Burnley beat Liverpool not so long ago and Watford beat Manchester United! This is the sort of game that’s harder to call, because really anything could happen. At home against Bournemouth, Watford will easy bounce back though. There’ll be goals in this game, and I think Deeney will bag one of them.
WEST HAM V MIDDLESBROUGH: DIMITRI PAYET
It’s no secret that West Ham just aren’t there yet. They need to get up to scratch in the Premier League, and they need to do it quickly. Dimitri Payet is class and got a lovely free-kick late on in the League Cup last week. I think Slaven Bilic will know the pressure is on and he needs to turn it around in this game.
MANCHESTER UNITED V STOKE: ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC
Stoke are in a similar situation to West Ham. They just keep conceding goals by the bucket-load and look bad. Their team selection isn’t quite right yet, particularly defensively. Manchester United will exploit that, especially after their win against Leicester last week. I can only see the game going one way. He will probably keep the same side, so it’s got to be ‘Zlats’ for me!
LEICESTER V SOUTHAMPTON: JAMIE VARDY
Charlie Austin is in great form, and you could do worse than picking him for your Jackpot pick. Personally, I’m going with Jamie Vardy. Leicester did well in the Champions League midweek and I think they will be stinging from that loss at Old Trafford. They’ll be keen to get back on track after that, and what better man to do that than Vardy?
TOTTENHAM V MANCHESTER CITY: SERGIO AGUERO
Sergio Aguero – you can’t go with anyone else for this game. His record against Spurs is great and he came back from his ban last week and scored two. He takes penalties too. This will be a big test for both sides, plenty of people are saying City will walk the league, but games like this are definitely testers for them. It’s definitely an exciting game!
BURNLEY V ARSENAL: ALEXIS SANCHEZ
When Arsenal play how they did against Chelsea, they look like the best team in the Premier League. They look untouchable! Sanchez is on fire, he’s a great player, so I’m going with him to land me the money here. Arsenal will just be too much for Burnley this week.
