After Liverpool's 4-3 thriller against Arsenal last week, some punters are gambling on a few more ridiculous results

Sit back and soak up some of the craziest bets of the weekend

Andre Gray to score first and Burnley to beat Liverpool 3-1 at 225/1
One punter from Lancashire has £2 on

  • In 114 clashes, Burnley have beaten Liverpool 3-1 on three occasions – in 1918, 1929 and 1942. It’s been 74 years since Burnley managed to beat the Reds 3-1
  • Burnley have only ever won one Premier League game 3-1. The Clarets beat Sunderland 3-1 in September 2009, courtesy of a penalty from Graham Alexander and a brace from England’s ‘One cap, one goal’ hero, David Nugent
  • Andre Gray bagged 23 goals from just 109 shots in the Championship last season, giving him an outstanding conversion rate of 21 per cent

Manchester City to beat Stoke 7-0 at 500/1
One punter from Yorkshire has £1 on

  • Manchester City have only ever won one Premier League game 7-0. That was at the Etihad Stadium against Norwich in November 2013. David Silva, Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, Alvaro Negredo and Ediz Dzeko were all on the scoresheet – as well as two own goals from the Canaries
  • City’s previous biggest win over Stoke was 4-0. The Citizens won 4-0 in a Division Two match in 1927, and far more recently, won 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium in April 2016. Youngster Kelechi Iheanacho bagged a brace
  • Stoke City have been on the end of a 7-0 Premier League spanking in their history – away to Chelsea in April 2010. Salomon Kalou scored a hat-trick, Frank Lampard bagged two for himself, before Daniel Sturridge and Florent Malouda both found the onion bag in the final few minutes

Riyad Mahrez to score first and Leicester and Arsenal to draw 4-4 at 650/1
One punter from London has £1 on

  • Incredibly Arsenal have been involved in three 4-4 draws in Premier League history. In the 2008/09 season the Gunners drew 4-4 at home to Tottenham and away to Liverpool, before they drew 4-4 away to Newcastle in February 2011. Arsene Wenger’s men were 4-0 up after 26 minutes on that occasion and still failed to come away with three points…
  • In 385 Premier League games, Leicester have scored exactly four goals 10 times. The Foxes drew 4-4 away to Aston Villa in 1995, and again away to Tottenham in 2004. On both occasions Leicester were 3-1 down and came back to draw 4-4
  • Riyad Mahrez bagged 17 goals last season as Leicester marched to the title – but he only attempted 86 shots, giving him a mightily impressive conversion rate of 19.8 per cent
