Real may be out of the title race
But this is still one of the biggest games in world football.
It’s been a good international break for both Barca and Real. Barca’s front three of MSN all were given time to rest and recuperate. While it’s true that with the gap standing at 10 points, Real Madrid are probably out of the title race, they can still impact it in a major way.
Barca gave them a drubbing at the Bernabeu so they will want to return the favor and Paddy’s enhanced a special bet of mine. Check the video below to see the bargain.
They’ve shared the last few Clasico’s but when Barca have won it’s been impressive. Cristiano Ronaldo used to dominate the fixture for Real but that isn’t the case that much anymore. Instead it’s a Brit that’s coming to the fore in Gareth Bale. The Welshman wasn’t allowed play over the international break for Wales, so he’ll be chomping at the bit to get a bit of Barca.
On the other side, you have Neymar. He’s showing the potential that he had a few years ago, is seemingly 100% fit and he is the one that will carry Barcelona forward in the next 5 years, provided Lionel Messi hasn’t found an anti-aging trait to his game.
Luis Enrique was a star of Real’s midfield, and Zizou grew up as a Barcelona fan. Neither of them can afford to look ahead to the Champions League quarter finals which begin this week. Barca are welcoming Real’s city rivals Atleti to the Camp Nou while Los Blancos are heading to Germany to take on Wolfsburg.
Madrid only have one defeat since the end of January in the league – and that was to Atleti. Barca’s form is even better and they’re nine points clear at the top. As I mentioned, MSN were rested and are looking keen. There are a couple of decent bets available. Starting with the obvious of Messi to score anytime (). 4 or more goals in the match is tempting (), Barcelona to win by exactly one goal () and the obvious one of both teams to score ()
It’s sure to be an emotional night and a fantastic game of football. Viva el futból.
