Group 2 in League A of the Nations League has delivered some great matches so far and we have Spain taking on Czech Republic on Sunday night. The Czech were impressive in their 2-2 home draw with the Spaniards last week and the hosts will be looking to take the three points on offer this time.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Portugal travel to Switzerland with the Swiss looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Portugal a week ago. In League B, Slovenia host Serbia and after losing 4-1 in the reverse fixture a week ago will also be looking for revenge but this Serbian side is full of goals so could well be in for another hiding.

In League C, Greece have won all of their three games so far and will be looking to extend that run with a home win over Kosovo who they beat away from home last Sunday. Let’s dig into the stats then and uncover some value bets in our 7.45pm Sunday games.

Spain v Czech Republic – Spain to Win to Nil

Spain are enjoying a great run of form, losing just one of their last 10 games, winning seven and drawing two. Of their five most previous games they’ve won three and drawn two and on Spanish soil have won four and drawn one, scoring 13 and conceding just two. Czech Republic have won just one of their last five games, drawing three (losing one in Extra Time) and losing one.

Their away performances have been pretty poor, winning just one of their last five, drawing two (losing one in ET) and losing two, scoring just three goals and conceding seven. Spain should win here and pretty comfortably too, especially with the Czech’s being so goalshy on the road. We’re backing Spain to Win to Nil for this one.

Switzerland v Portugal – Portugal to Win

Switzerland’s form is pretty terrible of late, they’ve not won now in any of their last five games, losing four and drawing one. At home things are much better though with two wins, two draws and one loss, scoring seven and conceding just two with four of those games seeing Under 2.5 Goals.

Portugal are in great shape coming into this match, they’ve only lost one of their 10 previous fixtures, winning seven, drawing two and losing one and over their last five have won four and drawn one. Over their recent excursion, A Selecao have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring seven and conceding three with Unders landing in three of those five games. While the hosts have been in decent shape at home their overall form is poor and Portugal’s recent form means we have to back the Away Win here.

Slovenia v Serbia – Serbia to Win

Slovenia’s form is pretty bad of late, they’ve failed to win any of their last five fixtures, drawing three and losing two. On home turf things are better though with two wins, one draw and two losses, scoring five and conceding six. Serbia have won three of their last five matches, losing the other two and their away form has seen them winning four and losing one, scoring a total of five and conceding four, keeping three clean sheets in the process.

The Serbs will be hoping for a draw in the earlier match between Norway and Sweden in the same group and will take top spot with a win here should the Norwegians not beat Sweden. While Slovenia’s home form looks good their overall form means we have to back the Away Win here.

Greece v Kosovo – Both Teams to Score

Both sides come into this League C match in good nick, Greece have won four of their last five fixtures, losing the other one while Kosovo have won three, drawn one and lost one. At home the Greeks have won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring seven and conceding four. The travelling side have also won two, drawn two and lost one over their recent excursions, scoring five and conceding five.

The hosts have conceded in four of their last five and with the visitors scoring in eight of their last 10 away games we see them scoring here. Greece to Win is getting most of the action for this match but the better value is in backing Both Teams to Score.
