All eyes will be on the Nations League Group A game being played between Germany and England on Tuesday night in Munich. The Three Lions were beaten 1-0 in their opening game away to Hungary on Saturday evening while Hansi Flick’s side drew 1-1 with Italy in Bologna. Along with the tasty Munich match, Italy and Hungary square off at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi – home of Serie C team Cesena.

Elsewhere in the Nations League, we’ll also be previewing the Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Romania match where both teams will be looking for the win after less-than-satisfactory starts to their campaigns and Turkey’s trip to Lithuania in our last match.

19:45 Germany vs England: Both Teams to Score in the Second Half

TV: Channel 4

Germany will feel somewhat aggrieved they didn’t beat Italy on Saturday night. Die Mannschaft had the better chances over the 90 minutes but as we all know, beating Gianluigi Donnarumma twice in an Italian match is a rare thing. Of course, there’s plenty of history between these sides.

Having met 33 times, the hosts have beaten England 13 times with six ending level and the Three Lions winning 14.

The home side are unbeaten over their last 10 games in all competitions, winning eight and drawing two. On home soil, they’re without defeat in seven, winning five and drawing two, scoring a total of 29 goals and conceding five. England have won four of their last five games, losing the other one and on their away trips have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring 20 and conceding just two.

Both sides have been defensively strong and while both should score here, a stat that really jumped out at us is that both sides have scored a total of 11 and 12 second half goals over their last five home/away games. With those stats, we’re getting some mighty value with the Both Teams to Score in the Second Half price.

19:45 Italy vs Hungary: Both Teams to Score

TV: Premier Sports 1

Should Italy be wary of Hungary coming to town after their victory over England? Their Tuesday opponents missed a great chance in the last 10 minutes to win 2-0 but it must be said that while England were lacklustre in the middle of the park, they came very close with a few chances and on another day wouldn’t have lost.

The Italians were happy to sit back against Germany but here we should see a more attack-minded Azzurri side. They have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing two and losing two and share the same record at home.

Hungary have won four of their last five games, losing the other one and on their travels have won two, drawn two and lost one. Looking a bit deeper into those home vs away games, Italy lost to North Macedonia and Spain, drew with Germany and Switzerland and beat Belgium.

Hungary beat Poland and Northern Ireland, drew with England and Germany and lost to Albania. Based on form then the visitors should get some joy here and the Italians have conceded at least one in six of their last seven at home while the Hugarians have conceded in five of their last six. Both Teams to Score has the value for this one.

19:45 Bosnia & Herzegovina vs Romania: Under 2.5 Goals

TV: Premier Sports 2

Bosnia drew 1-1 with Finland in their opening League B match while Romania lost 2-0 away to Montenegro. The hosts have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing three and share the same record on home turf where Both Teams To Score as well as Over 2.5 Goals has only occurred in two games.

The visitors have won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five matches while on their travels they share the same stats with Both Teams To Score and Overs also landing in just two games. With both teams scoring just four and five goals over their last five respective home/away games we have to look at Under 2.5 goals here.

19:45 Lithuania vs Turkey: Turkey to Win to Nil

TV: Box Nation

Lithuania began their campaign with a 0-2 home loss to Luxembourg while Turkey put four past the Faroe Islands. The hosts have won one of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing three and at home share the same record. The Turks have won three and lost two over their last five games, sharing the same stats on their travels, scoring nine goals in total.

With the hosts failing to score in both of their most previous games and in two of their last three at home, the Turks should breeze this so we’re backing Turkey to Win to Nil here.
