23.00: Los Angeles FC v San Jose Earthquakes – LA to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

Whilst sitting atop of the Western Conference, LAFC’s recent form has seen them losing three of their last five fixtures in all competitions while their MLS form reads as two wins, one draw and two losses. At home things are slightly better with three wins, one draw and one loss, scoring 11 and conceding six with four of those five games seeing Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score occurring.

San Jose have won one, drawn three (winning one on penalties) and lost one over their last five fixtures. Their MLS form has seen them winning two, drawing two and losing one but their away league form is dire with just one draw and four losses. With those stats the home side are massive favourites here but the away side have scored eight over their last five MLS games and in four of their last five visits to Exposition Park so the best odds here is backing the home side to take the three points and Over 2.5 goals.

00.00: New York RB v DC United – Both Teams to Score

New York Red Bulls’ form doesn’t look great on paper with one win, three draws and one loss over their last five MLS fixtures. However, we need to mention that in those three draws they came from behind in all to rescue a point so there’s definitely some great team spirit among the ranks there. At home they’ve lost one and drawn four. DC United have won one of their last five league games, drawing two and losing two and on their away jaunts they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two.

The hosts are short-odds favourites to take the points here and while there’s spirit in the camp their lack of wins means we just can’t give them the nod here but with Both Teams to Score landing in seven of their last 10 combined home/away games we have to stick with that trend continuing here.

00.30: New England Revolution v Philadelphia Union – BTTS & & Over 2.5 Goals

Philadelphia have lost just one of their 13 MLS games so far this season, winning six and drawing six. If they aim to stay at the top of their side of the league though they’ll need to turn more draws into wins as New York City are just a point behind them with Orlando City trailing them by three points. Philadelphia have drawn three of their last five games, winning one and losing one while on their MLS excursions have won two, drawn two and lost one. The Revs have won two and drawn three (losing one in ET) over their last five in all competitions and have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five in the league but have won two, drawn one and lost two over their last five at home.

The Union have a decent record away to the hosts here, winning two, drawing two and losing one over their last five visits there. Both teams have very good scoring records, the hosts have scored at least two in four of their last five home league games while the visitors have scored eight over their last five on the road. BTTS looks a given but both are scoring enough to beat the other so we’re backing BTTS & Overs.

00.30: Orlando City v FC Dallas – Over 2.5 Goals

Both teams sit in third in their respective divisions with Orlando on 21 points after 13 games and Dallas on 22 after their 13 matches. The hosts are in the better form of the pair though, winning two, drawing two (winning one on penalties) and losing one in all competitions. Their overall MLS stats read as two wins, one draw and two losses over their last five in the league while at home they have won two and lost three which is worrying here.

Dallas have won two of their last five in all competitions, drawing one (losing in ET) and losing two while in the MLS have won two, drawn one and lost two and on their league away trips have won one, drawn three and lost two. Both sides have scored six over their last five home/away games and we’ve seen Overs landing in seven of their last 10 combined games so the best value here then is in backing that trend to continue.

02.30: Real Salt Lake v Houston Dynamo – Real Salt Lake to Win

Real Salt Lake have won three of their last five MLS matches, drawing one and losing one but have gone five unbeaten over their last five at home, winning four and drawing one. Dynamo have won three and lost two of their last five in all competitions but have lost three and won two of their last five MLS fixtures while on their league excursions share the same record. With the home side in such strong form at the Rio Tinto Stadium we have to go with the value odds here on the home side taking the three points.
