La Liga’s final round of games of the season begins on Friday night with champions Real Madrid hosting Betis at the Santiago Bernabeu and Rayo Vallecano entertaining Levante at home. In Italy, Roma travel to Torino as they bring the curtain down on their Serie A season, but kicking us off we have a Dublin derby where St Pat’s host Damien Duff’s Shelbourne. We’ve turned up plenty of value here so let’s get stuck into the stats and check out what we’ve found in the markets.

19.45: St Patrick’s Athletic v Shelbourne – Under 2.5 Goals

St Pats are enjoying a decent run of form of late. They’ve only lost one of their last six which had been preceded by a run of four games without a win. Of their last six they’ve won three, drawn two and lost one and at Richmond Park they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one, scoring five and conceding five. Damien Duff’s first stint in management hasn’t been without its rocky moments and over their five most previous league matches have lost three and won two. Their away form is a little bit better with two wins, one draw and two losses. Their record crossing the Liffey to take on Pat’s isn’t great though. The hosts have won four of their last five meetings there in all competitions, drawing the other one and the away side failed to score in all four of those losses.

Both sides aren’t exactly banging in the goals too with both teams scoring five over their last five home/away games with Over 2.5 goals landing in just three of their last 10 combined home/away games. Pat’s should take the points here on the balance of form but Unders looks to be more likely here with two teams who aren’t in good goal-scoring nick.

19.45: Torino v Roma – Both Teams to Score, No Draw

Roma could still miss out on European football next season if they don’t win here as both Fiorentina and Atalanta sit just a point behind them going into the final round of Serie A fixtures. They’ll face a stern test here too, Torino are in the superior form of the two sides, winning three of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing one while Roma have won just one of their last five fixtures in all competitions, drawing three and losing one. In the Serie A their form is worse, drawing three and losing two.

On home turf, the hosts’ form is pretty bad though, they’ve won one, drawn two and lost two, scoring four and conceding five. Over their five most recent away games, Roma have won just one, drawing two and losing two, scoring four and conceding seven. Six out of the last eight meetings between the sides at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino have seen Both Teams to Score landing and with Torino scoring 10 over their last five Serie A games and Roma scoring four over their last five on their away trips we’re looking at a Both Teams to Score bet here. Roma need to win here though for some European football and with Torino in better goal-scoring form we’re unlikely to see this ending level. The value here is in backing BTTS, No Draw here.

20.00: Rayo Vallecano v Levante – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Neither side come into their final La Liga game in the best of shape. Rayo have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing two while already-relegated Levante have won two, drawn one and lost two. The hosts have drawn three and lost two of their last five on home soil, scoring four and conceding nine while the travelling side have won just one of their last five away games, drawing one and losing three, scoring seven and conceding 14.

While their respective form is bad their scoring stats are quite good and they both obviously don’t put much effort into defending as we can see from their goals against stats. We’re looking at a high-scoring affair here and we’re getting decent value with the current BTTS & Overs price.

20.00: Real Madrid v Betis – Madrid to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

This match will be all about Real preparing for their upcoming Champions League final against Liverpool the following weekend and Reds’ fans will be watching this with great interest. As champions too the hosts are going to want to turn on the style for their home fans in their final La Liga game of the campaign. Of their last five fixtures they’ve won two, drawn two (winning one in ET) and lost one. Of their five most previous La Liga clashes they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one and of their home league games have won four and lost one.

Betis have won two, drawn two (winning one on penalties) and lost one over their last five fixtures and have been very strong over their away La Liga matches, losing just two of their last 10 on the road, winning two and drawing three of their last five. They’ve a good record visiting Los Blanco too, winning two of their last five visits there with Real winning just one and two ending level. Real though have been in mighty form of late, scoring 16 over their last five at home in La Liga and we can only see this game going one way, Betis could put a small dent in proceedings though and we’re getting some great value here backing Real to Win and Over 2.5 Goals for this one.
