All eyes will be on the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday for a North London derby that could well decide who finishes fourth this season in the Premier League. Spurs are favourites with the market but the Gunners are in the superior form of the two bitter rivals.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Elsewhere we’ll be looking at newly-crowned La Liga champions Real Madrid who are at home to Levante and Rayo Vallecano host Villarreal who are also battling for European football. We’ve also found some value in the first leg of the Scottish League One Promotion Playoff Final where Queen’s Park face Airdrieonians at Firhill Stadium will be fighting it out for Scottish Championship football next season.

19.00: Rayo Vallecano v Villarreal – Under 2.5 Goals

With three games to go (including this one) Villarreal find themselves three points off the European places for next season. After their heroics in the Champions League this season most neutrals would love to see the Yellow Submarine return to European action and the market sees them priced at under Evens to take the three points. Neither side are exactly in spectacular form though, Rayo have won two of their last five in La Liga, drawing two and losing one while their home form has seen them going eight without a win, drawing three and losing two of their last five.

The visitors have won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing three, their overall La Liga form is better though with two wins, two draws and a loss, however on their league travels Unai Emery’s side have won just one of their last five, losing the other four. Over 2.5 Goals has only been seen in two of their last 10 combined home/away games and with Rayo scoring just three over their last five on home soil as well as the travelling side also scoring just three over their last five away games the best value here is in opposing goals; we’re backing Under 2.5 Goals here.

19.30: Queen’s Park v Airdrieonians – Over 2.5 Goals

Queen’s Park find themselves favourites here even though they finished fourth this season, 21 points behind second-placed Airdrieonians and only managed to score one goal over both ties in their 0-1 aggregate win over Dunfermline in the semi final. The Spiders have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing two and losing two, scoring four and conceding five.

The Diamonds are in better shape, winning two of their last five, drawing two (winning one in ET) and losing one, scoring 13 (15 if we’re counting ET goals) and conceding eight. With home advantage the market is siding with the hosts here but the visitors are in the better form for this first leg and their goal stats mean we should see a few here. With league promotion up for grabs both sides will have to go for it and with them averaging 1.61 and 1.78 over their respective home/away games this season we’re getting some great value on Over 2.5 Goals here.

19.45: Tottenham v Arsenal – Both Teams to Score, No Draw

Spurs come into their 36th Premier League game of the season after winning two of their last five in the league, drawing two and losing one. On home turf their form has improved of late where they’ve won four of their last five played there, losing the other one, scoring 16 and conceding four.

Arsenal have won four of their last five in the league, losing the other one while on their league outings the Gunners have won three of their last five, losing the other two, scoring seven and conceding seven. The hosts will be relying on their superior goal-scoring form of late at home but they’ve only kept a solitary clean sheet over their last 10 home Premier League games meaning we should see the visitors getting their name on the scoresheet at least once.

Over their combined 70 league games this campaign only eight have ended level and only two of their last 10 meetings at both grounds have ended in a Draw. With those stats, it’s easy to see we’re getting a mighty value price here for the Both Teams to Score No Draw market.

20.30: Real Madrid v Levante – Real to Win & Over 1.5 Goals

Real were the walking wounded against Atletico Madrid over the weekend with only a handful of those who started in their incredible Champions League comeback against Man City featuring. They put up a good fight though and were it not for some wayward shooting could have won the derby. Against relegation-threatened Levante they are short-odds to get back to winning ways.

Of their five most recent fixtures, Real have won three and lost two while their home La Liga form reads as four wins and one loss, scoring 13 and conceding five, albeit keeping three clean sheets. The visitors have won two, drawn one and lost one over their five most previous La Liga encounters and on their travels have won one, drawn two and lost two.

Levante can still escape relegation but they’re going to have to get something positive here meaning they’ll need to attack. Real have scored at least two in five of their last six in the league and in six of their last eight at home. We’re looking at a 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 to Real here so taking a safer option and backing Real to Win and Over 1.5 Goals.
