Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is ready for the midweek action in the Premier League, with Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa hosting Liverpool in Tuesday’s televised clash.

Interestingly, Philippe Coutinho has been on the bench so it seems as though he may have found a little bit of a formula getting Emiliano Buendia into the game a little bit more. Coutinho will be disappointed if he misses this one against his former club.
Saturday’s draw with Spurs ended Liverpool’s run at Anfield of 12 wins on the trot but they have had eight clean sheets in the last 10. I fancy Liverpool to Win to Nil and in terms of a scoreline, I’m expecting 2-0 Liverpool.
