For Sunday night’s football acca we’re going to be taking a look at two newly-crowned domestic champions. In France, PSG host Troyes while in La Liga the Madrid derby takes place at the Metropolitano as Atletico host Champions League finalists Real.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Sandwiched in between we have AC Milan, chasing their first Serie A title since the 2010-11 season, travelling to Verona. Finally, to the MLS where Nashville host Real Salt Lake in the Western half of the divisions. Time to roll the sleeves up then and search for some value bets.

19:45 PSG vs Troyes: PSG to Win & Over 3.5 Goals

Five points separate Troyes and the relegation zone and with them most likely getting a bit of a hiding here they’re going to be sweating it a bit over their last two games to come.

PSG have had plenty of ups and downs this season but are finishing the league in strong from, going six games unbeaten now, winning four and drawing two, scoring a whopping 20 goals over those six games while conceding seven. On home turf they’ve now gone 20 league games without losing and have won 18 of them. Of their five most recent at the Parc des Princes, they’ve won four and drawn one, scoring 14 and conceding four.

The away side have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three, sharing the same record over their last five on the road. With PSG in such mighty goal-scoring form we have to look at goals here. It’s worth mentioning, too, that they’ve conceded at least one in four of their last five at home and the visitors have scored in eight of their last 10 on their travels. PSG should turn on the style here so we’re looking at some generous odds here for PSG to Win & Over 3.5 Goals.

19:45 Verona vs AC Milan: Milan to Win & Over 1.5 Goals

With Inter playing Empoli on Friday night they should sit at the summit of the Serie A table so AC will know that nothing other than a win here against Verona will keep them in the driving seat for their first Scudetto since 2011. The home side will make it tough for Stefano Piolo’s side though as they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five in the league and share the same stats at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, scoring 10 and conceding four.

Milan have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five fixtures in all competitions. Their Serie A form has seen them going 13 without defeat, winning three and drawing two of their last five while on their league excursions have won three and drawn two, scoring six and conceding three.

The Rossoneri should get the win here thanks to their mighty form but we want a little cover should Verona score as well so we’re backing the AC Milan to Win and Over 1.5 Goals.

20:00 Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid: Both Teams To Score

Who better to spoil Real Madrid’s La Liga celebrations than their city neighbours Atletico? There’s little doubt they’re going to raise their game here and give Real a battle. Los Blancos though are still going to be pretty bruised up from their gruelling comeback against Manchester City in the Champions League midweek.

The hosts have won just one of their last five fixtures, drawing two and losing two but on home turf are undefeated over their last seven played there in all competitions, winning three of their last five, drawing the other two.

Real have won three, drawn two (winning one in ET) and lost one over their five most previous fixtures. Away from home they’ve won four of their last five, losing the other and have only won at the Metropolitano in one of their last five visits to East Madrid.

Only a madman would dismiss Real Madrid after what we’ve seen them do this season and while the hosts will have a far fitter and fresher side than the ragtag Carlo Ancellotti will have to put together from his battered players after Wednesday night’s crazy comeback, we still can’t see Real not scoring here so the best bet is the old faithful both teams to score.

22:00 Nashville vs Real Salt Lake: Under 2.5 Goals

Neither side will be too happy with how their respective MLS seasons have started, Nashville have won three, drawn three and lost three games so far with the visitors faring better with four wins, four draws and two losses. Both would readily admit to having had too many draws already.

Thus far the Tennessee side have scored 1.0 goals per game on average, netting six over their last five in the MLS while the visitors have only scored four over their last five league encounters. The market is heavily siding with the hosts here but we’re looking at those goal stats, or lack thereof. Over 2.5 goals has landed in just four of their last 10 combined home/away MLS games and with both teams averaging 1.0 goals per game so far this season and drawing too many games we have to have a nibble here of Under 2.5 Goals.
