Get out, enjoy your day off and come home and settle in front of the telly to watch some quality football from all across Europe. What could be better? Maybe a few winners?

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

I’ll do my best, but what I can guarantee is that Monday night’s action should be pretty good with some of the biggest names in European football in action. We’ve got Manchester United v Brentford in England and Borussia Monchengladbach v RB Leipzig over in Germany.

There’s also Serie A action in the shape of Atalanta v Salernitana and it’s Getafe v Real Betis in La Liga. I’ll unearth four punts with a bit of value to hopefully make up a winning four fold.

7.30pm: Monchengladbach v RB Leipzig – Leipzig to Win

TV: Sky Sports Mix

After an eye-catching season in 2019/20 it’s not really gone to plan for Borussia Monchengladbach. They’ve been on the decline since their 4th-placed finish that year and this season they sit 11th in the Bundesliga and probably won’t fancy their chances against the in-form RB Leipzig who are gunning for Champions League football next season.

Leipzig are 4th and need the points to keep both Union Berlin and Freiburg below them and at bay. Frankly, there’s nothing to suggest they won’t take the win here on Monday.

They’ve lost just once in their last 17 in all competitions, drawing four times and winning the rest. In their last five the hosts have won twice, drawn twice and lost once, though they have been playing a lot of the teams below them.

I think there’ll be goals in this but so do Paddy’s traders and the prices aren’t too appealing. With everything considered, RB Leipzig to Win is a nice-enough price to kick off our acca.

7.45pm: Atalanta v Salernitana – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

To Serie A next where another side possibly on the decline, Atalanta, take on one who might on the up, Salernitana. Okay, maybe that’s a bit of a stretch as Atalanta are 8th and Salernitana sit in the final relegation spot.

The thing is, the away side have won their last three while the hosts have won just one of their last five. Salernitana, despite their good form are 18th, three points from safety but with two games in hand over Cagliari in 17th.

I always say this, but whenever Atalanta take to the field back Both Teams to Score. This has clicked in seven of their last eight and, with Salernitana desperate for points, this feels a really good play.

I think someone’s going to win this game so we can add on a little bit of extra value and I’ll tip up Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals. This has landed in four of the last five for our home side and three of the last for for the visitors.

8pm: Getafe v Real Betis – Betis to Win

TV: Premier Sports 2 and LaLigaTV

Getafe are probably just about safe in 15th and they welcome the Champions League chasing Real Betis to the Alfonso Pérez on Monday. Betis are 5th in La Liga, four points behind Atletico Madrid and badly needing to win if they’re to make it into the big league next season.

The home side have won just two of their last 10, but they are fairly hard to beat and have drawn four and lost five, never losing by more than two goals in that run. In the league Betis have lost one of their last six, last time out to Elche, drawing two and winning three.

Betis have a really good away record, the 3rd best in the division. They’ve taken 28 points from 16 games and I fancy them to make it 31 from 17 come 10pm on Monday night. Getafe have a middling home record and with their visitors still having European ambitions, and being a really good price, I’m happy to take on Betis to Win.

8pm: Man United v Brentford – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

We finish in the madhouse that is Old Trafford where it’s been a nightmare season at The Theatre of Dreams. Manchester United have been shambolic on their way to their 6th spot while Brentford can be very pleased with their debut season in the Premier League. They’re safely ensconced in 14th.

United have won just two of their last 11 games in all competitions, 3-2 wins over Tottenham and Norwich at home. The Bees, on the other hand, are buzzing and they’ve won five of their last seven, losing one and drawing with Spurs last time out.

Despite everything Untied have been pretty handy at home in the Premier League, last tasting defeat in front of their own fans nine games ago. It’s on the road where they’ve been abysmal so just bear that in mind if you’re leaning towards Brentford.

Anything can happen here but one thing that is surely guaranteed is goals. Both Teams have Scored in six of United’s last eight Premier League games with The Red Devils conceding in all of them. Brentford had scored in six consecutive games before their stalemate last time out. This has got Both Teams To Score and Over 2.5 Goals written all over it.
