For Monday night’s football Acca, we’re taking a look at the title race in Portugal where Porto can take a giant leap towards landing their fifth title in 10 years should they beat Braga in the supper time kickoff. Later in the night Sporting travel to Boavista where they’ll be eager to stay as close to Porto as they can with games running out quickly.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Elsewhere Juventus travel to Sassuolo in Italy’s Serie A and in Turkey Besiktas entertain Kasimpasa. Let’s have a look in the markets and see where we’ve found some value for a fine four-fold acca on Monday night.

6pm: Braga vs Porto: Porto to Win

In fourth position on 56 points, Braga look set for more European football next season. Of late they’ve won three, drawn two, losing one in extra time. Regarding recent league form they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one while at the Estadio Municipal de Braga they share the same record of three wins, one draw and a loss, scoring six and conceding three.

Should Porto win here it will mean they’ll only need one more point to secure yet another title win. Sporting need to win all their games and hope Porto don’t pick up four points over their remaining four games which is pretty unlikely given how good they’ve been this season. The visitor’s record at Braga is pretty rough it must be said, they’ve won none of their last five visits there in all competitions, drawing three and losing two.

However, the visitors have won all six of their most recent league games, keeping a clean sheet in five of them and have won all 10 of their most previous away Primeira Liga fixtures. With Braga scoring just six goals over their last five league games compared to Porto’s 16 we’re going to back the visitors here to finally end their bad run away to the host with a Porto Win.

6.30pm: Besiktas vs Kasimpasa – BTTS in the Second Half

Down in seventh position Besiktas are having a season to forget, their major failing this campaign has been dropping points and drawing too many games. With eight losses so far this season they’ve only had one more defeat than Fenerbahce in second position but have had a total of 12 draws which is the joint highest in the league.

The market is certainly siding with the hosts here but they’ve only had one win over their last five in the Super Lig, drawing three and losing one while on home soil they’ve won two and also drawn three. Kasimpasa have won four and lost one of their last five in the league, losing the other one and on their league outings have won two, drawn one and lost two. You’d have to be tempted to go with the away side here as the hosts are in the midst of a blip, however the Black Eagles have beaten the visitors in all five of their most recent clashes there so the visitors will find it tough going.

Some stats that stood out here are that the home side have scored 15 Second Half goals over their 16 home league games with the visitors scoring 16 SH goals over their 16 away Super Lig games. Both Teams to Score looks very likely here but we can squeeze some more value out of it here by exploiting those stats and back Both Teams to Score in the Second Half.

Domenico Berardi Sassuolo

7.45pm: Sassuolo vs Juventus – BTTS, No Draw

Sassuolo look as if they’ll finish below eighth position for the first time in two seasons and in facing Juve here and Napoli and AC Milan in the coming weeks they could easily end up finishing lower than 12 which would be their worst finishing position since the 2013/14 season. I Neroverdi have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five Serie A games while at home their record is very strong with four wins and one draw over their last five fixtures played at the Citta del Tricolore.

Juve have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five fixtures in all competitions while their Serie A record shares the same results. Their last five away league games have been slightly better with three wins and two draws. The Old Lady have won here in four of their last five visits, drawing the other match and the market has them as odds-on favourites here.

The host’s home form is mighty, scoring 11 goals over their last five at home. Both teams should be scoring here but with so few draws over previous results this one is unlikely to end level. Both Teams To Score, No Draw has the value in this Serie A clash.

8.30pm: Boavista vs Sporting – Sporting Win & Over 1.5 Goals

Boavista have won two of their last five league matches, drawing one and losing two. Their home league form has seen them winning one, drawing three and losing one. In all of those three draws they came from losing positions to recusing a point. Sporting have won three and lost two while their Primeira Liga form have seen them winning four and losing one while their league jaunts have seen them going undefeated over their last seven on the road, winning three and drawing two.

The hosts have scored at least one in nine of their last 10 games at home in the league while Sporting have conceded at least one in five of their last six on the road and Os Axadrezados have scored in three of their last four fixtures against the visiting side over recent years.

Now, we’d be very tempted to go with a variation on a BTTS bet here but the travelling side are conceding less than a goal per game on their away trips, 13 over 15 games, so we can get some better value here in backing Sporting to Win and Over 1.5 Goals as the away side have scored at least two in nine of their last 10 on the road so we’re covered here with a 0-2 win and any win for the visitors even with a Boavista goal.
