19:45 Fulham vs Preston – Both Teams to Score

Fulham’s form has taken a bit of a wobble of late but they still have a cushion of nine points between themselves and Bournemouth in second place. The Cottagers have won just two of their last five in the Championship, losing the other three. At home things are looking a bit better with three wins and two losses over their last five, scoring nine and conceding six.

Preston have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five in the league while their away form has seen them winning just one of their last five on the road, drawing two and losing two. While their away stats aren’t great they do show their improvement over the last three games where they’ve taken seven points from a possible nine and scored four goals. Fulham will be eager to get back to winning ways here but they’ve conceded five over their last two fixtures so we fully expect the visitors to get on the scoresheet. Now, Fulham have the better players, there’s little doubt there but this wobble means we wouldn’t be able to confidently back them here so the best value is in backing Both Teams to Score.

19:45: Hamburg vs Freiburg – Freiburg to Win & BTTS

You’d fully expect the fifth-placed Bundesliga team to hammer the sixth-placed Bundesliga II side here and the market certainly reflects this. The hosts have won two of their last five competitive games, drawing one and losing two. On home soil they share the same record with the addition of winning a draw on penalties. Freiburg have won three, drawn one and lost one over their last five fixtures while on their away trips have won two and drawn three, winning one of those draws in Extra Time.

We shouldn’t dismiss Hamburg too quickly though, on their march to the semi-final they’ve taken two large Bundesliga scalps already in Stuttgart and FC Koln. The hosts have scored 14 over their last five at home in all competitions while the travelling side have only kept two clean sheets over their last 10 away games. Frieburg’s recent better form should stand to them here and we expect them to win out over the 90 minutes but Hamburg should be good for at least a goal. Freiburg to Win & BTTS has the value in this one.

20:00: Liverpool vs Man United – Liverpool to win & BTTS

Have Liverpool ever been at such short odds to beat Manchester United? It just really goes to show the absolute mess United have become plus there’s the factor of United’s treatment table to be added in too. Still though you’d expect the visiting players to be up for this, the chance to throw a large spanner into the works of Liverpool’s title push. Saying that, these United players have let their fans down again and again and again over the last good few seasons so let’s not allow wishful thinking to cloud our minds when looking for a good bet.

Liverpool have kept United scoreless over five of their last six visits to Anfield in all competitions but the Reds defence has been creaking of late. They’ve conceded eight over their last four games and have kept just three clean sheets over their last seven on home soil. Ralf Rangnick’s Red Devils, for all their problems, have been in decent goal-scoring form on their travels, scoring in nine of their last 10 away games. Liverpool to Win & BTTS has a great price here armed with those stats.

20:00: Betis vs Elche – Betis to Win

Betis continue their push for European football next season, they’re currently fifth on 57 points and are unbeaten over their last six games, winning three and drawing three. Elche have won two and lost three of their last five in La Liga and their away form is pretty muck with just one win over their last five away league encounters, drawing one and losing three. Elche have a pretty decent record away to Betis but their recent form coupled with Betis’ push for European football means we have to give the nod to the home side here.

20:30: Villarreal vs Valencia – Under 2.5 Goals

Villarreal have been a breath of fresh air in the Champions League this season, well, in European football over the last few seasons in general, but their current league position of sixth means they could possibly miss out next season if their league results don’t improve. The Yellow Submarine have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five fixtures but their home La Liga form has seen them winning three and drawing two.

Valencia’s form is worrying. They’ve won just one of their last five in La Liga, drawing three and losing one with their away stats reading as two wins, two draws and a loss. It’s hard to see many goals here, Over 2.5 Goals has only been seen in two of the hosts’ last five at home in the league and in just one of Los Murcielagos’ last five on their La Liga travels. Valencia should come out on top but they’re priced too low for us here and with both teams short on goals the better option is Under 2.5 Goals.
