Rangers are an incredibly difficult team to gauge at present. They appear to have all-but surrendered their Premiership title, dropping six points behind Celtic with five games to play, and yet they have just reached the Europa League semi-finals, ousting the considerable might of Borussia Dortmund, Red Star Belgrade, and Braga along the way.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

However, there is no doubting that they have been underwhelming domestically. Celtic have taken back control in the Old Firm, winning the last two league fixtures between the sides.

Sunday 2pm: Rangers v Celtic
TV: Premier Sports 1 and Premier Sports 2

Celtic to win

In fact, Celtic’s form this season has been almost the polar opposite of Rangers’ – underwhelming in Europe and excellent in Scotland. Ange Postecoglou’s side have won 15 of their 16 domestic fixtures in 2022 but were embarrassed by Bodo/Glimt in a 5-1 aggregate defeat in the Europa Conference League.

They are likely to make it 16 out of 17 domestic wins this year against a Rangers side that has just played 120 grueling minutes in a Europa League quarter final. Celtic to Win kicks us off.

Both teams to score

Celtic have conceded just 19 goals in 33 league goals this season – by far the best defensive record in the Premiership – but their record is somewhat ordinary away from Celtic Park. Postecoglou’s side have conceded just four goals in 16 league home league games this season, compared to 15 goals in 17 away league fixtures.

They may struggle to keep a free-scoring Rangers side at bay on Sunday without the benefit of home advantage. Rangers have scored 67 goals in 33 league games this season at an average of more than two goals per game and have scored an impressive 13 goals in six Europa League knockout games to date.

Celtic may very well have to score twice if they are to advance to the Scottish Cup final. Both Teams To Score seems a good play.

Tom Rogic to Score Anytime

Tom Rogic scored to draw Celtic level in their recent 2-1 win at Ibrox and can yet again prove to be a threat against their bitter rivals on Sunday. Rogic has scored six goals from midfield this season and boasts a decent record of six goals in 17 appearances against Rangers.

The Australian midfielder has not scored a goal in the Scottish Cup since 2019 but can put that record to an end this Sunday against a Rangers side that has kept just one clean sheet in their last six games in all competitions.

Defensive solidity was the cornerstone of Rangers’ Scottish Premiership triumph last season, but they have now conceded more than double the number of league goals than they did in their entire title-winning campaign. Rogic to Score Anytime is good value on Sunday.

Kemar Roofe to Score Anytime

It has been a difficult season for Kemar Roofe, but the Rangers striker has certainly made the most of Alfredo Morelos’ recent injury absence. Roofe scored a hattrick in Rangers’ 4-0 win at St. Mirren in the league last weekend before popping up in extra time to fire Rangers into the last-four of the Europa League.

The former Leeds forward has found starting opportunities difficult to come by this season but is almost certain to retain his place in the side following his recent heroics. He has scored an impressive 16 goals in just 16 starts in all competitions so don’t be surprised to see Roofe Score Anytime here.
