Fresh from their 2-0 Europa Conference League victory over Rennes, Brendan Rogers’ Leicester City travel to North London for a tough clash against fourth-placed Arsenal on Super Sunday. Mikel Arteta’s men are unbeaten in the league since New Year’s Day, whilst the Foxes have only recently found form.

Arsenal have won four games on the trot to seize the initiative in the race for the top four, but they have sneaked over the line in a number of those games. Leicester had endured a torrid start to 2022 and were the only Premier League team yet to win a league game in the calendar year before their victory at Burnley at the start of March.

Mikel Arteta’s side scored three brilliant goals to see off Watford last weekend but were ordinary otherwise, while they relied on a last gasp deflected winner to overcome Wolves three days earlier.
However, the manner of victory is unimportant, and Arsenal now hold an almost unassailable lead over the chasing pack, boasting a one-point lead over fifth-placed Manchester United with three games in hand, although those games in hand come against Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham.
Arsenal now face a rejuvenated Leicester side that has won two games on the bounce in the league and four games in a row in all competitions. They are clearly a good team on their day and can cause problems for an Arsenal side that hasn’t been firing on all cylinders, despite their four-game winning streak.
Arsenal have won each of their last four games by one goal and it’s difficult to see anything changing against Leicester on Sunday.
Both Teams To Score
Arsenal boast the fifth-best record in the league but have conceded four goals in their last three games against three of the worst goalscoring teams in the division in Wolves, Brentford, and Watford. Despite their modestly good defensive record, they still concede well over a goal per game on average and are without a clean sheet in their last five games at the Emirates in al competitions in a run stretching back to before Christmas.
Leicester, on the other hand, have kept clean sheets in their last two league games and their last three games in all competitions but boast the worst defensive record of any side currently sitting in the top 13 in the Premier League. Brendan Rodgers’ side had conceded 10 goals in five league games before they finally kept a clean sheet at Turf Moor, which was their first away clean sheet in the league.
It’s hard to see them making it two away clean sheets in a row against a clinical Arsenal side.

Bukayo Saka to score anytime
Bukayo Saka scored again against Watford to make it six goals in his last seven league games. The English winger is one of the in-form players in the division at present as demonstrated by his brilliant performance at Vicarage Road last weekend.
Only Emile Smith-Rowe has scored more Premier League goals for Arsenal this season than Saka, while none have scored more than him in 2022. Saka has attempted an average of more than two shots per game in the league this season and should flourish against a Leicester side that has faced an average of more than 15 shots per game this season – the third-highest rate in the Premier League.
Martin Odegaard anytime assist
Martin Odegaard has finally begun to live up to his significant potential in recent months, becoming one of Arsenal’s most important players. He scored his first goal since December when he brilliantly found the back of the net against Watford following a silky team move, but it is his creativity that could unlock the Leicester defence on Sunday.
Odegaard hasn’t registered a league assist since he set up two goals in Arsenal’s 5-0 win at Norwich on Boxing Day, but he does average two key passes per game and is undoubtedly one of the most creative players at Arteta’s disposal. He ended his goal drought against Watford last weekend and can end his relative assist drought against Leicester this Sunday.
