For Saturday night’s football acca we’re looking at some of the biggest names in European football in action and searching for value in their matches. We’ll be looking at the title races in France, Spain and Portugal where PSG, Real Madrid and Sporting Lisbon are all playing but kicking us off here we have relegation-threatened Cagliari clashing with Lazio in the Serie A.

7.45pm: Cagliari v Lazio: Both Teams to Score

TV: BT Sport 2

Cagliari are just three points above the Serie A relegation zone but have played a game more than Venezia below them in 18th. They have improved of late and have now gone five games undefeated in the league with two wins and three draws with Both Teams to Score landing in all five of those games. At the Sardegna Arena their form is good too with two wins, two draws and one defeat where they’ve scored seven and conceded eight with Both Teams To Score landing in four of the five matches.

Lazio have won just one of their last five in all competitions while in their Serie A games they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one and on their league outings have won three, drawn one and lost one, scoring 11 and conceding four with Both Teams To Score occurring in three of those games. While the visitors should win this on the balance of previous games it can’t be denied that Cagliari have been a tough nut to crack of late, the best bet here then is for both teams to get on the scoresheet.

8pm: Nice v PSG: PSG to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

TV: LaLigaTV

Nice can overtake Marseille in second position here should they win while PSG can extend their lead at the summit of Ligue 1 to 18 points should they take the spoils. The hosts are in decent shape having won three of their five most recent fixtures while in the league they’ve won two, drawn one and lost one and on home turf have won three and lost two with Over 2.5 Goals landing in three of those games.

PSG have won four and lost one of their last five in all competitions, scoring 11 and conceding five and their away league form has seen them winning just one of their last five, drawing three and losing one. Their overall superior form will stand to the Parisians here and they’ve won here in seven of their last eight encounters. PSG to Win & Over 2.5 Goals has some incredible value here, especially with both teams in ripe goal-scoring form.

8pm: Real Madrid v Real Sociedad: Madrid Win & Over 2.5

TV: BT Sport 1

Should things not go well for Sevilla on Friday night away to Alaves, Los Blancos can possibly go nine points ahead of them in second place. Real have won three of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing one while their La Liga form has seen them going six without defeat, winning four and drawing two. At the Santiago Bernabeu they are undefeated so far this season in the league and of their last five have won three and drawn two, scoring 10 and conceding three.

Sociedad have a decent record away to Real, over their last five visits to the capital they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two in all competitions. Over their recent La Liga matches they’ve won three of their last five, drawing one and losing one. However, their away league form isn’t great with just one win over their last five, drawing two and losing two, scoring three and conceding nine. Real should come out on top here but we want to cover ourselves a bit should Sociedad draw some blood. We’re going with Real to Win and Over 2.5 Goals for this one.

8.30pm: Sporting v Arouca: Sporting to Win to Nil

Being six points behind league leaders Porto coming into this Primeira clash the pressure is on Sporting to deliver here and cut the gap on their old rivals to three points, for 24 hours at least. The home side are in decent league nick with three wins over their last five and two draws while at the Estadio Jose Alvalade they’ve won four of their last five, losing the other, scoring 11 and conceding four.

Arouca are just two points above the relegation zone and have won just one of their last five league games. On their away jaunts they’re looking much better with two wins, two draws and one loss over their last five. The away side have failed to score in three of their last four visits here in all competitions and with Sporting having kept seven clean sheets over their last nine home Primeira Liga clashes we’re getting some decent odds here for Sporting to Win to Nil.
