West Ham have had two weeks to digest the sucker-punch of conceding a last-gasp winner at Old Trafford in a crucial game in the race for European football but now have the perfect opportunity to build some momentum against Kidderminster before a winnable run of games in the Premier League.

David Moyes’s side lost their last two league games before the winter break in a damaging period for their European aspirations, but they should experience no such result on Saturday.

Handicap Betting: West Ham (-2)

Kidderminster caused the shock of the third round when they came from behind to dump out Championship side Reading, who admittedly had a lot more on their minds than an FA Cup run.

West Ham, however, are a different prospect entirely and are likely to field a formidable side in order to clear out any rustiness that may have developed over the winter break. A second successive upset is unlikely.

Both teams to score

Kidderminster boast the second-best goalscoring record in the National League North, with 45 goals in 23 games so far and they can take confidence going into a game against a side that has conceded 31 goals in 23 games, the second-worst record in the Premier League’s top ten.

West Ham’s defensive record in domestic cups is admittedly immaculate, with the Hammers managing three clean sheets in four games against Premier League opposition in the FA Cup and League Cup. They also managed four clean sheets in six games in their Europa League group stage campaign but still look vulnerable defensively in the league.

They have managed just one clean sheet in their last seven league games, and it is that leaky defensive record that has seen them slip out of the top four in recent weeks. Kidderminster have some hope of nabbing a consolation against Premier League opposition.

Jarrod Bowen to score anytime

Jarrod Bowen has been one of the shining lights in what has been an excellent season to date for the Hammers. The former Hull forward has scored an eye-catching ten goals so far in all competitions, the most of any West Ham player.

He has scored in every competition that he has played this season, including in the third-round win over Leeds at the London Stadium. Bowen has also notched four goals in his last four appearances in all competitions and stands every chance of making that five out of five against a Kidderminster side that averages just under one goal conceded per game in the National League North.

Pablo Fornals to score anytime

Pablo Fornals is enjoying a stellar season for West Ham so far, scoring five goals in 30 appearances in all competitions. The Spaniard is just one goal short of his season-best in the claret and blue of West Ham with roughly half a season left to play.

He has scored in the FA Cup in his previous two seasons in the FA Cup and is good value to do so again against non-league opposition on Saturday. Fornals ended a two-month scoring duck when he scored in the 3-2 defeat to Leeds in mid-January and he can further rediscover his goalscoring touch against Kidderminster.
