WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Next up Manchester United v West Ham is the focus of our attention but you can also check out Thommo’s Turbo Treble to see the Liverpool God’s views on all the 3pms this week. Finally it’s Southampton v Manchester City at 5.30pm.

So let’s get Thommo’s Premier League tips for Saturday.

12.30pm: Everton v Aston Villa

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

It’s a big game, and it’s a tough one, this. How are the Evertonians going to be feeling now Rafa Benitez is gone? Are they going to be feeling jubilant or are they going to be nervous? They’ve had such a difficult time at home.

Looking at the stats for Everton and they’ve lost 10 of 19 Premier League games. They’ve lost the last four of six at home in the Premier League. If you take the table from October 2nd they would be bottom.

I’m looking at Villa, they’ve got some confidence. Maybe a bit too much confidence after getting beat at Old Trafford by Manchester United. I really thought they would be stronger when they played them again the week after.

I fancy Villa to Win this because of the nervousness around Goodison Park. I’m going Villa to Win 2-1 and for Danny Ings to Score Anytime. He’s scored five goals against Everton in his career, they’re his joint-most favourite team to play.

3pm: Manchester United v West Ham

West Ham were just starting to play well again and then they got beat by Leeds United, 3-2, which was a hell of a game. West Ham had won the last four in all competitions before that defeat against Leeds and they’ve won their last two away Premier League games, scoring seven goals.

Manchester United beat Brentford 3-1 in midweek. They were dreadful in the first half but turned it around after the break. They will be feeling a lot better with that one, that was their first win in three Premier League games. Under Ralf Rangnick Manchester United have taken 14 points from 21.

It’s not too bad but it’s not really good enough for Manchester United. But this is the real thing, Manchester United are unbeaten in 13 Premier League games at Old Trafford against West Ham and they’ve won 10 of them.

So, I’m going for Manchester United to Win this one but only just. I’ll go for Cristiano Ronaldo to Score Anytime. He wasn’t happy being subbed during the week but I think he’ll be angry enough to score.

5.30pm: Southampton v Manchester City

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

You can’t go anywhere else can you, guys? I think this is all down to Manchester City. But let’s look at Southampton, they’ve won just two of their last 10 Premier League games. But, it’s a big but, they’re unbeaten in seven Premier League games at home.

Their only league defeat at home this season was not against any of the big boys, it was against Wolves. They’re not too bad at home but they’ve conceded 23 goals in their last 11 games in all competitions. That’s not going to be good enough against a rampant Manchester City.

City are 11 points clear and have won each of their last 12 Premier League games, they’ve scored 82 goals in all competitions and have the best defence in the Premier League. I do fancy City to win this.

I’ve got Man City to Win 3-0 down here on my sheet and they’re unbeaten in 10 away Premier League games, winning nine of those. I think this is a banker. It’s just getting that score right, you can go Man City (-2) on the handicap with Raheem Sterling to Score Anytime. He looks happy at City again now.
