Tuesday’s African Cup of Nations games will see Groups B and C decided. Of the eight teams only Morocco have already qualified from Group C and with Ghana taking on Comoros they’d have to be favourites to finish second.

16.00: Malawi v Senegal – Senegal and Under 2.5 Goals
Malawi have won two and lost three of their last five games and find themselves in third position with three points. Senegal, on the other hand, are unbeaten over their last eight games, winning six and drawing two. Over their two tournament games they’ve won one and drawn one, scoring just one goal and conceding none.
There’s not many goals in both of these sides, Malawi have scored just two over the tournament and just four over their last five overall and Senegal have scored just seven over their last five. The Group B leaders should come out on top here again and frustrate Malawi so the value is in Senegal to Win and Under 2.5 Goals.
16.00: Zimbabwe v Guinea – Guinea to Win
It’s been 14 matches now since Zimbabwe last won and over their last five have drawn two and lost three. Guinea have won two of their last five, drawing one and losing two.
The away side are second in the Group B standings and a win will definitely see them qualify for the next round while a draw should do if Malawi don’t beat Senegal in the other match. Saying that, Zimbabwe are in awful shape and having lost seven of their last 10 we have to side with Guinea here.
19.00: Gabon vs Morocco – Both Teams to Score
Gabon need just a point against already-qualified Morocco in Group C. Morocco are likely to play a somewhat changed starting XI here but they’ll still want to finish top of the group and the fresh faces in the lineup will be eager to give their Bosnian manager Vahid Halilhodzic a selection headache ahead of their Last 16 game next week.
Gabon have scored in four of their last five games while Morocco have scored 10 over the same period. Gabon will once again be without Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been sent home to have tests on a cardiac issue. Gabon know they need just a point here and we’re likely to see them going at Morocco from the start. With both teams in good goal-scoring form, we’re looking at Both Teams to Score.

19.00: Ghana v Comoros – Ghana to Win to Nil
Ghana need the win here to get to four points, should they do that they’ll probably qualify for the next round as one of the best third-placed teams. Comoros have lost both of their games and have really struggled to perform, indeed, they’ve only had a single shot on target over their two games.
Ghana’s results of late are disappointing, winning just one of their last five, drawing two and losing two. It must be said though that in losing to Algeria and Morocco, two of the best teams in Africa there’s no shame and they are, by a long stretch, the better team. In facing a Comoros side who can hardly hit a barn down we’re going with Ghana to Win to Nil here.
