5.30pm – AC Milan vs Spezia: Milan to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1

At the time of writing, Serie A leaders Inter are yet to play Atalanta on Sunday night. Should they fail to win, Milan could steal top spot with victory over Spezia. The home side are in fairly strong form, winning three, drawing one (winning it in Extra Time) and losing one of their past five. Looking at Serie A form alone, they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one while at the San Siro it’s not quite as good where they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two.

Spezia have won two, drawn one and lost two over their last five in all competitions and over their last five away league games have won two and lost three. Milan are without a few players thanks to the African Cup of Nations and their defence is a bit of a mess, keeping just two clean sheets over their last 10 in all competitions. Spezia have scored in five of their last six in the league and could throw a spanner into proceedings here. Milan though are the stronger of the pair and should come out on top. We’re looking at something like a 2-1 or 3-0 home win here so there’s some decent value in backing Milan to Win & Over 2.5 Goals here.

5.30pm – Bologna vs Napoli: Napoli to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 2

Napoli find themselves in danger of falling down the pecking order of late. Their form since November has been inconsistent and with Atalanta and Juventus breathing down their necks they need to start performing again to try and keep up with the top two above them. Over their five most recent Serie A games, Gli Azzurri have won two, drawn one and lost two. Their five most recent league excursions have seen them win two, draw two and lose one, scoring seven and conceding six.

Bologna have won just one of their last five in the league, losing the other four. They’re scoring though, chalking up seven goals and conceding nine over those five games. At the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara they’ve won two of their last five, losing the other three, scoring five and conceding six. With both in decent scoring form we should see both scoring. Napoli though have the superior form and while Bologna are scoring that record of four losses from their last five games means we have to give it to Napoli here. Napoli to Win and Overs has the best value.

7.45pm – Celtic vs Hibernian: Celtic to Win to Nil

TV: CelticTV

Celtic have won eight of their last 10 games in all competitions, drawing one and losing one while in the league they’re unbeaten over their last 10 games. At home they share the same unbeaten record (winning eight and drawing two) and have kept eight clean sheets over their 10 most previous games on home turf in the Premiership.

Hibs are in decent form, winning three of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing one, sharing the same record over their last five in the league. Away from home they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two and failed to score in two of those games. Indeed, the away side have failed to score in four of their last six visits to Celtic Park and with the Bhoys keeping so many clean sheets of late we have to go with Celtic to Win to Nil here.
