3pm: Reading v Derby – Correct Score: 1-1

The fact Wayne Rooney has got punters contemplating whether Derby can stay up this season after their points deduction shows how well he’s doing at Pride Park. Derby have won their last three Championship games on the spin, beating Blackpool, West Brom and Stoke.

They travel to Reading on Monday, who sit one place above the relegation zone. Veljko Paunovic’s side, who haven’t played since December 11, have drawn two of their last three Championship home games, with both finishing 1-1. While Derby are flying, we’re going to back a 1-1 Draw. It’ll likely be a cagey affair involving two struggling teams.

3pm: Stoke v Preston – Draw

We also have Stoke v Preston on Monday afternoon. These two sides have identical form over the last six games which has seen them win two, draw one and lose three. Stoke have struggled at home recently, with Michael O’Neill’s side winning just one of their last six.

Preston don’t travel well and they’ve won just two games away from home all season. We fancy the two out of form sides to cancel each other out. If you’re feeling brave, it could be worth backing it to finish 0-0 but we’re just going with the Draw.

Monday’s tips:

3pm: Reading v Derby – Correct Score: 1-1
3pm: Stoke v Preston – Draw
