For Monday’s football action we’ve gone through the best of the fixtures on offer and found a Treble filled to the brim with value. We have an in-form Getafe taking on an Athletic Bilboa who haven’t won in any of their last six games.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

We’ll also be checking out Everton who haven’t won since September taking on Arsenal at home. Kicking us off we have Cagliari, who are also enduring a long spell without winning, at home to Torino. Let’s look for some value in the markets.

19.45: Cagliari v Torino – Cagliari Draw No Bet

Cagliari look to be in trouble but they’re improving of late and are scoring a decent amount of goals. Their home form is a bit better than their overall form mentioned in the intro where they’ve won one of their last five, drawing two and losing two. To their credit they’re scoring plenty, averaging 1.38 goals per home league game and if they can just turn some draws into wins they can pull themselves out of the drop zone.

Torino have won two of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing two. With their star man sidelined and possibly on the way to the Premier League in January, Andrea Belotti has been a huge absence from the side and away from home they’ve been pretty awful. Indeed they’ve won just one away game on their league travels, drawing five and losing three, averaging just 0.43 goals per game and conceding 1.0. With Il Toro’s terrible away record and their low goals average, we’re siding with the home side here. But let’s take some insurance: Cagliari Draw No Bet has a good price considering their superior prowess in front of goal.

20.00: Everton v Arsenal – Arsenal to Win

Eight games without a win and Everton really need their talisman Dominic Calvert-Lewin back in the side. Toffees manager Rafael Benitez said on Friday the England forward should be back in the starting XI within the next few weeks. At home in the league the hosts have been frustratingly bad with just one win over their last five, a 2-0 win over Norwich, they’ve since lost 0-1 to West Ham, 2-5 to Watford and 1-4 to Liverpool.

Arsenal have won three of their last five in the league and looking at their away games only have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five. Like Everton they were also on the receiving end of a Liverpool mauling during those five and lost to Man United thanks to a Cristiano Ronaldo penalty with 20 minutes to go. With the goals drying up for the home side, scoring just two goals over their last five in the league, compared to the visitors’ seven as well as the home side’s lack of form, we have to go with the Gunners to fire more misery on the Toffees here.

20.00: Getafe v Athletic Bilbao – Getafe or Draw

Getafe’s league position looks pretty bad, lying second last with just 10 points after 15 games. The good news though is that they’re actually the form side here. They’ve won three of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing one. Looking at La Liga games only they’ve won two of their last five, drawing two and losing one. At the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez things haven’t been great but they’ve won both of their most recent games there, prior to that they had lost two and drawn one.

Bilbao have now gone six games without a victory and their away form has seen them draw four and lose one. They’re tough to beat but just cannot seem to turn drawing positions into winning games. They’ve really struggled for goals too, scoring just four goals over their away La Liga games, the home side have been averaging 1.14 per home league game. Those stats would weigh more towards the home side here but Bilbao’s ability to turn losing positions into draws shouldn’t be dismissed so we need to take out some insurance. The best option here is Getafe or Draw.
