Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is limbering up for another weekend of Premier League action and he’s teamed up with our trader Emmet O’Keefe to give you the inside track on the biggest games. Leicester v Chelsea kicks us off as we wave an overly-fond farewell to the international break.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

It’s a fascinating match up with table-toppers Chelsea heading to the out of form Foxes. The Blues have lots of injury problems but Leicester are just not functioning properly at the moment. Will the break have done them good? Let’s check out the lads’ Leicester v Chelsea tips.

Saturday 12.30pm: Leicester v Chelsea

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

THOMMO: I just don’t think it’s the Leicester that we know and love. They’ve had a difficult time but I think things are sort of settling down, they’ve had a whole host of injuries. Leicester have only won two of their last eight Premier League games and they’ve no clean sheet in 10. That tells you where they’ve had their injury problems – in defence.

They’ve won just one of their last four Premier League games. Who was that against? Manchester United. Chelsea, you’ve just got to fancy Chelsea in this. Thomas Tuchel’s astonishing isn’t he, because he’s made 38 changes and that’s the difficulty for the people watching this won are placing their bets. That’s nine more than any other side.

Do watch the selections that Tuchel’s making before placing any bets. Chelsea have the best defence in the Premier League, only four goals conceded and just one of them has been from open play. It’s fantastic, they’re unbeaten in all five Premier League games. I do think it will be tight. With Leicester coming out the other side, I am going to go with Chelsea to Win but only very narrowly. I do fancy Both Teams To Score, I am going for Chelsea to Win 2-1.

I’m also going for Mason Mount to Score Anytime. I do think he’s great from midfield. No Romelu Lukaku or Timo Werner, they haven’t been playing. They could make a comeback, I’m not sure about that, so I’m going for Mason mount to be on the scoresheet.

EMMET: I think Chelsea are just, with the absence of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku, I just think they don’t have the players in attack. The front three that’s been starting recently of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz – that is not a Premier League winning front three.

Like Phil says, Leicester have been playing like a midtable side all season but I would just be hesitant to include Chelsea in your weekend accumulator until you see the starting line up. If Romelu Lukaku starts I’d feel a lot more confident in Chelsea.

The angle that I kinda liked here was Ben Chilwell to Score Anytime. He’s actually been in really good goal-scoring form for Chelsea this season, he’s got three league goals already.

As we’ve seen with Chelsea’s struggles in attack, Thomas Tuchel is putting more emphasis on the wing backs getting forward. We’ve seen Reece James also find the net. So, Ben Chilwell to Score Anytime against his former club is the bet I like.
