The consistency of his form is just incredible, and so is the regularity that he gets on scoresheet. It also helps that his team have netted in every competitive game bar one this term, as Bayern look to shake off the challenge of Borussia Dortmund on top of the Bundesliga. Having conceded in each of their last five games, Augsburg’s defence must be shaking in their boots ahead of this one. Let’s face it, they’ve got good reason to be too!

Quietly, Ilias Chair has been one of the driving forces of QPR’s rather surprising play-off push in the Championship. The Moroccan international has hit six goals in the Championship to date, and has picked off a pair of goals in his last five league outings. There is even talk of Premier League teams sniffing around him in the January transfer window.

QPR are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Luton, winning three and scoring at least two or more goals in those victories. Given those stats, Chair should have every chance of sitting down The Hatters’ defence and finding the net during Friday’s Championship live game on Sky.

Now we come to the man on every Football Manager player’s shopping list. Jonathan David just continues deliver the goods for Lille and Canada, hitting four goals in his last five outings. David may have only netted 13 times (still a respectable showing) in Ligue 1 last season, but he has already plundered eight league goals in this campaign and that has put him firmly on the radar of some of the top clubs in Europe.

To add to David’s appeal, he also seems to be a dab hand from the spot and was nerveless from 12 yards in Lille’s impressive Champions League win over Sevilla recently. He also scored against Friday’s opponents Monaco when the sides met last season, and he gets our nod to do it again in this one.

20:00 Levante v Atletico Bilbao: Iker Muniain To Score Anytime

You’d be forgiven for believing Iker Muniain is much older than his 28 years on the planet. That’s mainly because he seems to have been at Atletico Bilbao forever, instead of the 12 years he’s been in the first team. His loyalty to the Basque club has made him a local legend though, and he is still producing the goods on the field – even if his shop window for a big move away looks to be shut now.

He may only have two La Liga goals to his name this term, but both of those have come in his last three league appearances. He also seems to love taking on Levante recently, grabbing two goals in the last three seasons against the Valencia-based club. Levante have leaked 12 goals in defence in their previous four La Liga matches, so it would be no shock to see Muniain feast again on the relegation-threatened club here.
