Saturday evening’s European football acca has us looking in on proceedings from Serie A where bottom-of-the-table Cagliari take on a free-scoring Atalanta. PSG travel to Bordeaux without the injured Lionel Messi but with Kylian Mbappe back in business.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Real Madrid will be looking to go six home La Liga games without defeat when Rayo Vallecano visit the Santiago Bernabeu and finally, a Premeira Liga game where Vitoria Guimaraes take on a Moreirense side who are winless on their away trips this season. With goals likely in these games, we’re looking at the Both Teams to Score markets for value.

7.45pm: Cagliari vs Atalanta – Atalanta to Win & BTTS

TV: BT Sport 3

While Cagliari’s form is pretty bad, winning just one of their last five in the league, drawing one and losing three, their goal-scoring form has seen them averaging just over a goal a game. Atalanta have averaged 1.82 goals over their league encounters. Over their six home Serie A games Cagliari have scored nine goals, Atalanta have netted 12 over their five away games.

Atalanta have won four and drawn one of their five away games and over their five most recent visits to the Unipol Domus in all competitions have won four, losing the other one. Both Teams to Score has landed in four out of five recent home Serie A games for Cagliari, Atalanta share that stat on their league excursions.

Atalanta though have the superior firepower, it almost goes without saying, but it should see them taking the three points but the home side should get on the scoresheet as well as Atalanta Win with Both Teams To Score.

8pm: Bordeaux vs PSG – PSG to Win and BTTS

TV: BT Sport 2

Bordeaux have only won one of their last five Ligue 1 games, drawing three and losing one. At home their stats are the same. However, they’ve scored 16 over their 12 league games and have scored in all but one of their six home league clashes. PSG are tearing away from the rest of the league, eight points separate them and Nice in second at the time of writing but Mauricio Pochettino’s side don’t seem to care much for clean sheets.

While their new goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has saved their derrieres a few times this season it must be pointed out that PSG have only kept two clean sheets over their last seven league games. Bordeaux’s scoring record should see them getting one but PSG’s league form is too good to argue against. PSG to Win and BTTS has a great price here.

8pm: Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano – Real to Win to Nil

TV: Premier Sports 2 and LaLigaTV

Real will be looking to make it six matches unbeaten here in all competitions and make it six unbeaten home league games this campaign too. They’ve recently dropped points at home though, drawing both of their most recent La Liga games on home turf having won the three prior ones.

Rayo, in sixth position, have been very strong at home this season, their away trips though have yielded just four points from a possible 24 and have only scored five goals over those six games. Real have kept two clean sheets over their most recent La Liga games at home and there’s some good value here for that trend to continue. With Rayo finding life so tough on the road though there’s little argument against Real taking all three points. Real to Win to Nil is the pick here.

8.30pm: Guimaraes vs Moreirense – Both Teams To Score? No

Guimaraes have been in pretty decent goal-scoring form of late, scoring seven over their last five league games, also scoring seven over their last five at home. Moreirense however have failed to score in three of their last five in the league and in three of their last five on their league travels. The home side are odds-on favourites to win here but there’s better value to be had in backing BTTS? No.
