Football Accumulator tips: Our fab 28/1 four-fold for Monday’s games

Our tipster Paddy Murphy has picks from Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Turkey for you to check out.

There are a few important games happening across Europe on Monday night. We have a massive match from the top of Turkey’s Super Lig to kick us off. Then we’re off to Ireland where St Pat’s will be hoping to close the gap on league leaders Shamrock Rovers with a win.

We’re also checking in on Spain’s La Liga and Portugal’s Primeira Liga, where we’ve found some nice value. Let’s get stuck in then and start off with one of the biggest games in Turkish football!

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

18.00 Besiktas v Galatasaray: Both Teams To Score No Draw

Besiktas fans won’t be looking forward to this one we reckon. They’re in terrible form of late and seeing one of their biggest rivals coming to town in such great form won’t fill them with confidence. Besiktas have won just one of their last five, losing all four of the others.

At home things are slightly better where they’ve won two, drawn one and lost two. But, their league form at Vodafone Park is actually very good and they’re actually undefeated over their five games this season.

Galatasaray are unbeaten over their last five games, winning four and drawing one. Away from home in all competitions they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one. Their league form is the same, but they’ve been very sharp in front of goal – scoring at least two goals in four of their last five away league games.

Besiktas have netted 10 over their last five at home, and 12 over their last five at home in the league. With both teams banging in the goals, you’d expect both to get at least one here. Of the last 10 meetings between the sides here, only two have ended level and of their combined 18 league games this season, only three have ended level.

19:00 Gil Vicente v Braga: Braga To Win

Hosts Gil Vicente aren’t looking too good of late, they’ve not won a league game since mid-August, a run of six games where they’ve only picked up three points (all from draws). Braga are undefeated over their last six games in all competitions and over their four away league games this term.

The away side are getting most of the action in the market and with them being in the superior form, it’s hard to argue against them taking all three points here against a side who are down on their luck.

19:45 St Pats v Dundalk: St Pats To Win And Both Teams To Score

St Pats need a bit of a miracle to catch Shamrock Rovers at the top of the league, but a win here cuts the lead to 10 points with five more games to go and that means it’s still in the realms of possibility. Their overall form has seen them winning three of their last five (losing the other two). Their home league form has seen them winning four of their last five though.

Dundalk’s form has seen them winning two, drawing two and losing one of their last five, while away from home in the league they’ve now gone eight games without a victory. St Pats have only kept two clean sheets over their last six at home in the league. They won five of those matches though and Dundalk’s record of scoring at least one in eight of their last 10 on the road means we’re getting good value backing the home side to win and Both Teams To Score here.

20:00 Getafe v Celta Vigo: Under 2.5 Goals

Getafe’s season has been awful, and Quique Sánchez Flores has been coaxed back to his old stomping ground for his third term at the club to try and save the Azulones. The home side are winless over their La Liga season so far, drawing two and losing seven – scoring just three goals in the process.

Celta Vigo aren’t in great shape either, as they’ve won just two of their nine league games – scoring just seven goals. Of the teams’ combined eight home/away games this season only two have seen Over 2.5 goals. This one is going to be a tough watch and it has Unders written all over it.
