Chelsea have had a little bit of a wobble of late and the last thing they need is a trip to face this tricky Brentford outfit. Here to guide us through the action is Paddy Power ambassador and former England defender Phil Thompson.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Thommo is joined by our football trader Emmet O’Keeffe to run the rule over Saturday’s late game for Brentford v Chelsea. He’s expecting goals, but how many and for who?

Saturday 5.30pm: Brentford v Chelsea

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

THOMMO: This is one, and I think Emmet will probably agree, for Both Teams To Score, I do fancy that. Romelu Lukaku’s not scored in five of his last appearances which is quite amazing for Chelsea.

I do fancy Jorginho to Score Anytime and I do fancy Chelsea to Win this one, but Brentford will push them all the way. I think Chelsea are going to have problems. Don’t forget Brentford have only had one Premier League defeat and that was to Brighton.

They are a good outfit and I think they will make it very, very tough for Chelsea but I do think the visitors will have enough. They’ve won each of their last six away Premier League derbies, have Chelsea. I think they’re going to continue it.

EMMET: I echo Thommo’s thoughts there. Antonio Rudiger might miss this game which would be a key absence. People might not know this but actually only Brighton and Burnley have played more long balls this season than Brentford.

In some ways they’re a bit of an old-school team with two really powerful centre forwards and with so many teams pressing up the pitch nowadays like Chelsea will do, it leaves space if you can win those flick-ons in behind. I think that’s what we’ll see Brentford do on Saturday.

If Chelsea come through I think it will be 2-1 or a very tight game. Both Teams to Score would definitely by the way I’d look for a bet.
