With the international break putting a pause on proceedings in the Big Leagues we’ve taken a look further down the European football ties in an effort to find some value on Monday night. We’ve gone deep into the stats and found two value bets from Spain and Northern Ireland for a delicious double that’s crammed with value.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

19.45: Crusaders v Coleraine – Over 3.5 Goals

At the time of writing Crusaders and Coleraine occupy seventh and sixth in the NIFL Premiership. The home side have won three, drawn one and lost one over their five league games thus far. Coleraine have won three, drawn one and lost two over their six league encounters. Crusaders have scored nine and conceded three while Coleraine have netted 15 and conceded seven.

Over the five most previous meetings between the sides at both grounds Coleraine hold the upper hand, the Bannsiders have won three, Crusaders won two. Interestingly, at matches played at Seaview the away side have also won three with Crusader winning two. Both are in great form of late, looking at their overall fixtures both are unbeaten over their last five games in all competitions, winning four and drawing one.

Over their five most recent home games in all competitions they’ve both won three, drawn one and lost one. They’ve both had their scoring boots firmly on too, over those five games Crusaders hit the back of the net 11 times, conceding just two while Coleraine also scored 15 and conceded three. Over those 10 combined games, Over 2.5 goals landed seven times.

With both teams in such mighty goal-scoring form we should see a few here and with both being unbeaten over their last five that’s likely to change here. We cannot discount a high-scoring draw though so we’re backing Over 3.5 Goals here.

20.00: Girona v Almeria – Almeria to Win

Much of the action here will probably go Alermia’s way here. At the time of writing they occupy third position in Spain La Liga 2 and Girona are having an awful time of it this season. The home side have won just two of their seven league fixtures this season, drawing two and losing three, scoring just five goals and conceding six. Almeria have won five and lost two, scoring 15 and conceding six in the process.

Almeria haven’t done well on recent visits to Catalonia to take on Girona, the sides have met four times at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi since 2020 with Girona winning three and Almeria winning one. However, Girona are in a good deal of bother having won just one of their last six fixtures in the league, Almeria have won four over the same period. The away side have the added motivation of taking top spot in the league with a victory as well and with Girona on the ropes we have to side with the travelling team here. We’re backing Almeria to take the three points here.

20.00: Girona v Almeria – Almeria to Win
