Thursday night sees a raft of fallen giants and up-and-coming teams in action aross the Europa League and Europa Conference. Here we’ve taken in Tottenham, Celtic, Marseille and West Ham’s games for an 8pm acca. I’ll let you work out who fits into what category.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

We’ve got four picks which add up to a very healthy price so, if you’re not on the Europa bandwagon yet, maybe it’s time to hop on. Get comfortable and let me guide you through my picks for Thursday’s late Europa matches.

Celtic v Leverkusen – Leverkusen to Win

TV: BT Sport 3

Celtic face a tough task as they take on the Bundesliga’s 2nd-placed team, Bayer Leverkusen. The German side have won six of their eight competitive games this season and have a fairly soft looking game at the weekend so could go strong here.

The Bhoys have won just twice in their last seven matches and are way down in 6th in the Premiership. Don’t really need to say too much with this one as Bayer are in better form and have better players. At a really nice acca price, Bayer Leverkusen to Win kicks us off.

Marseille v Galatasaray – Marseille to Win

TV: BT Sport ESPN

Galatasaray find themselves in the lowly position of 10th in the Turkish Super Lig after seven games while Marseille are 3rd in Ligue 1. Gala made pretty tough work of the Europa League qualification process but did win against Lazio in their Group E opener.

Marseille got a point away at Lokomotiv Moscow which might seem a little disappointing but I suspect they’ll be pleased with it. Back at home they’ll be aiming to record their first victory and with Galatasaray’s overall poor form is pushing us towards a Marseille Win here.

Tottenham v Mura – Bryan Gil to Score Anytime

TV: BT Sport 2

Tottenham take on that girl from Love Island on Thursday night in the Europa Conference. Oh, hang on. She’s called Maura. Who’s this then? Mura? Mura are a football team from Slovenia. That makes a lot more sense.

Anyway, Spurs should pump this side who sit 5th in the Slovenian PrvaLiga. They are absolutely huge favourites so value is a little hard to come by. Bryan Gil started on the bench at the weekend in the North London Derby and I think he’s in line to start here as Nuno Espirito Santo shuffles his deck.

The 20-year-old, who shot to fame in The Big Bang Theory, is a real prospect and he should make mincemeat of this lot, provided he starts. Obviously, it’s worth waiting for the teams but, if he’s in, Bryan Gil to Score Anytime is a great price in a game that should see plenty of Spurs goals but lacks in value.

West Ham v Rapid Vienna – West Ham to Win and Under 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

David Moyes’ mighty West Ham continue to surprise and impress in equal measure and an out-of-form Rapid Vienna at home is just what the doctor ordered to keep the good times rolling. I think West Ham are going to make plenty of changes here and will just be happy to get the job done.

The Hammers have won three of their last four in all competitions while Vienna’s last win was seven games ago. They’ve lost to plenty of teams who are vastly inferior to their hosts here but I think this could be quite a dull, low-scoring game with West Ham to Win and Under 2.5 Goals.

Thursday Europa League acca

Celtic v Leverkusen – Leverkusen to Win
Marseille v Galatasaray – Marseille to Win
Tottenham v Mura – Bryan Gil to Score Anytime
West Ham v Rapid Vienna – West Ham to Win and Under 2.5 Goals
