It’s Premier League time again people and Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson has linked up with our top trader Jason Murphy to help kick things off. First up it’s Crystal Palace hosting Tottenham at Selhurst Park.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

The visitors have won all three games 1-0 so far this season and sit atop of the Premier League table. Palace are 14th with two points from three game but can they end Spurs’ flawless run?

Saturday 12.30pm: Crystal Palace v Tottenham

THOMMO

You’ve got to fancy Spurs, 100% win record and all 1-0. The thing about this Palace side is they’ve had the fewest shots this season of any team in the Premier League with just 20 and that’s only five on target. Although they’ve got the inclusion of Odsonne Edouard from Celtic, I can’t see anything but a Spurs win. I really do think this is an away banker.

I just don’t see Palace scoring. Spurs are yet to concede and Spurs have won 10 out of their last 12 against Palace so it’s all in Spurs’ favour to Win to Nil. It’s hard to oppose Harry Kane in the goal scorer market because the other player would be Son Heung-min but if he’s not playing, you have to check the teams. Harry Kane to Score Anytime.

JASON

It is the early kick off and Spurs are favourites, it’s a really nice price for the accas but I was a little bit worried about Selhurst Park and fans coming back. You think that’s going to be intimidating, it’s going to be tough to get a result there. I actually looked into Palace’s results over the last five seasons.

The average team picks up 30 points at home in a season, Palace, over the last five seasons, have only averaged about 22 points which is really poor home form. It’s their away form which has kept them in the league over the last few years.

So it’s potentially not a tricky place to go for Spurs. I know they drew the last two games 1-1 there, but who opened the scoring in those two games? Harry Kane. So, if I was to give you a bet, it would be Harry Kane to Score First.

Palace v Spurs tips

Thommo: Spurs to Win, Spurs to Win to Nil, Harry Kane to Score Anytime
Jason: Harry Kane to Score First
