England to Win
England in all reality should be winning this game. They’ve got the players all over the pitch to win it and they line up in such a way that if they take the lead they can just revert to Gareth Southgate’s classic 10 men behind the ball approach. It’s a no brainer backing England to Win here but expect Poland to put up a good fight.
Both Teams to Score
Poland need points to provide them with some security in this group and they have a powerful weapon in the shape of Robert Lewandowski who has aged like a fine wine, statistically getting better over the last five seasons (and scoring more than a goal a game last term). They will need to go all in against England and we can expect to see them pick up a goal with Both Teams Scoring. The last game Poland failed to score in was against Italy in November 2020.

This one reeks of a 2-1 finish in my opinion. Poland will have to throw absolutely everything at this England team in order to try and come away with a result and I think they’ll get a goal, but that’ll be the height of it. England have the depth and creativity in abundance to keep consistent pressure on Poland through the 90 minutes and with it get some goals helping us to pass the Over 2.5 Goals benchmark.
Robert Lewandowski to Score Anytime
This man, like Thanos, is inevitable. Everything he touches turns to goals. After a brace against San Marino and a goal against Albania he’s in flying form this international break. If any man is going to beat Harry Maguire and Co, Lewa will be the man to do it.
Harry Kane to have 2 or more shots on target
He’s just too good. When he came on against Andorra he had two shots on target inside 29 minutes. I know it’s Andorra, but he’s the key in this English side going forward and Southgate seems to have loosened up the leash on him a little bit to let him do more than sit around the halfway line. If anyone is going to rack up a few shots on target it’ll be Harry Kane.
