Friday’s European acca sees the return of the Bundesliga where champions Bayern Munich begin their title defence away to Borussia Monchengladbach. We’ll also be looking at Rangers taking on Dunfermline in the Scottish League Cup.

In France’s Ligue 1, we’ll be looking for some value in the Lorient v Monaco game and finally to Spain where La Liga’s opening game of the season features Valencia hosting Getafe. Let’s find a winning acca heading into the weekend.

19.30: ‘Gladbach v Bayern – Both Teams to Score No Draw

Borussia Monchengladbach’s pre-season preparations have gone quite well. They won four, drew one and lost one of their five friendlies and have made a few interesting signings as well. Bayern, however, didn’t win any of their four friendlies, losing three and drawing the other and have transferred out better players than they’ve transferred in, although no doubt they’ll make a few additions before the window closes.

‘Gladbach have a great record against Bayern at Borussia Park. Over their last six meetings, the home side have beaten Bayern four times with the Bavarians taking the points in the other two games. Over those six games, Both Teams to Score has landed in five, Over 2.5 goals in five as well and Over 3.5 goals in three.

Bayern have most of their best players back for this one, BTTS looks nailed on and with this fixture not seeing a draw since 2014 we’re liking the odds on BTTS No Draw here.

19.30: Rangers v Dunfermline – Rangers to Win to Nil

Rangers were dumped out of the Champions League midweek after losing 1-2 to Malmo, although they will have another shot at European football next week in a Europa League qualifier. Dunfermline started their league campaign with a draw and a loss but had won three of their previous League Cup matches this season, losing the other one.

The sides have only met three times at Ibrox since 2014 with Rangers winning three of those games to nil. Rangers only conceded four goals at home last season in the league and the gulf in quality should be plenty evident here. Rangers to Win to Nil is where our money is going.

20.00: Lorient v Monaco – BTTS No Draw

These sides have met five times at the Stade du Moustoir since 2014 with Monaco winning four and just one ending level. Three of those five games saw Over 2.5 goals landing, only two saw BTTS. However, Lorient finished off last season in great home form, losing just one of their last 10, winning eight and drawing one.

Monaco also finished strongly, sharing exactly the same record on their league travels. Both teams also had very good pre-season results and Monaco have had an additional two wins in their Champions League qualification games. Both teams are in great form recently, scoring plenty of goals as well and with games rarely ending level when they play the best value here is backing BTTS No Draw.

20.00: Valencia v Getafe – Both Teams to Score

Over the last five league meetings between Valencia and Getafe at the Estadio de Mestalla, four have ended level and Getafe have won one. They’ve not been dull affairs though, four of those games saw both Over 2.5 goals and BTTS landing in them.

Both teams had fairly decent pre-season results but it must be said that Valencia faced tougher opposition than Getafe. Valencia are favourites but they’re not exactly famous for their defensive abilities, keeping just one clean sheet over their last seven at home in the league. Both Teams to Score at Evens has the value here.

19.30: Rangers v Dunfermline – Rangers to Win to Nil
20.00: Lorient v Monaco – BTTS No Draw
