Just three more games stand between some of the teams fighting it out for Champions League Group Stage qualification on Tuesday night. In this article we’re going to be taking a look at four of the games that are delicately poised, three of them stand at 1-1, while just one has a home team currently on 2-1 on aggregate. With teams obviously all needing to go for the win we can extract plenty of value here. Let’s have a look then at what we’ve found in the betting markets.

18.30: Shakhtar Donetsk v Genk – Shakhtar to Win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1

Shakhtar are obviously favourites here. Of their last home games, they’ve won three and lost one but looking at their last 10 competitive games played at their temporary home in Kiev, they’ve actually lost four of their last 10, winning the other six. However, we must stress that those games go back to last season and of the four games they’ve actually played this campaign they’ve won three and lost one, with two games played home and two away.

Genk have played three in the league, winning one, drawing one and losing one, losing in the season-opening Super Cup to Club Brugge and lost the first leg of their Champions League match 1-2 last week at home. So, they’ve won one of their last five overall matches, scoring nine goals in all and conceding 11. Obviously enough they have to go for it here and their scoring record matched with Shakhar’s record of just four clean sheets over their last 10 home games should see them getting one but the Ukranian side have the experience and the talent to see this one out. We’re going with a Correct Score Combination here, Shakhtar to Win 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1.

19.00: Ludogorets v Olympiakos – Both Teams to Score No Draw

Olympiakos scored a late goal to salvage a 1-1 draw for the second leg here. It had been a fairly even game and Olympiakos deserved their draw in the end. Ludogorets have played six games this season and are unbeaten having won four and drawn two, Olympiakos have only played three games, all in the Champions League, winning two and drawing one.

Ludogorets are very strong at home, scoring at least two goals in eight of their last 10 competitive matches at home. Olympiakos are decent on the road too, scoring at least one in eight of their last 10 competitive matches on the road. Both teams are fairly experienced at this level and are good enough to beat the other. Decent value here for BTTS No Draw.

19.30: Young Boys v Cluj – Over 2.5 Goals

Young Boys are massive favourites here and the Swiss Super League is a fair bit more competitive than the Romanian Liga I. However, the Swiss side were made to work awful hard for their draw in Romania last week and couldn’t break down the Cluj defence until the 93rd minute.

Young Boys have played six competitive matches this season, three in the league and three in Europe, winning two, drawing three and losing one. Cluj have played four league games, winning all of them and have played five in the CL, winning three, drawing one and losing one.

Young Boys aren’t going to be in for an easy night here, Cluj have scored at least one in nine of their last 10 away games while Young Boys have scored at least two in eight of their last 10 at home. Goals should be on the menu then and we’re going with Overs here, a bet that would have landed in five of YB’s last eight at home and in four of Cluj’s last six on their travels.

20.00: Legia v Dinamo Zagreb – BTTS

Legia are six games into their season, they’ve won one and drawn one in the league, drew their Super Cup match (losing on penalties) and have won two and drawn one in their Champions League games. Zagreb have played three league games, winning two and drawing one but have won four and drawn one of their five CL games so far.

The away side are favourites here but Legia are a tough nut to crack at home, scoring 20 over their last 10 at home in the league. Dinamo are dogged too though, they’ve scored at least one goal in 20 of their last 21 away games in all competitions. The obvious bet here is BTTS with those stats.
