New to Paddy Power?

3pm: FC Copenhagen v Silkeborg – Copenhagen Win and BTTS

Silkeborg face their first big challenge back in the Danish top flight on Sunday as they travel to last season’s 3rd-placed team FC Copenhagen for their second game of the campaign. Both sides drew their opener and will be keen to get the first win on the board.

Despite firing a blank against SønderjyskE last time, Silkeborg scored plenty last season and we’re backing them to net against the big boys here. Copenhagen shipped two against AAB on the opening day, but did finish the game with 10 men. We’re siding with FC Copenhagen to Win and Both Teams to Score here.

3.30pm: Ural v Krasnodar – Ural and Draw

Krasnodar are the big favourites as they head to Ural for their opening Russian Premier League match of the 2021/22 season. While Krasnodar are the favourites, they’re probably too short here. Ural only finished two places and seven points behing Krasnodar last season.

Krasnodar’s price seems to be based on reputation, given their rise to European football in recent seasons, but the fact is they’re not great right now. With a bit of value I think it’s worth backing Ural to Win or Draw Double Chance.

Anderlecht

5.30pm: Anderlecht v Union St. Gilloise – Anderlecht and Over 1.5 Goals

Another big boy takes on a newly-promoted side in Belgium as Anderlecht host Union St. Gilloise. Anderlecht finished third in the regular season last year before finishing fourth in the Championship Round.

Union St. Gilloise won the First Division B at a canter last season and will be hoping for nothing more than survival this time around. However, they’ll face easier challenges throughout the season. We have to be on the home side here and to beef up the price on offer a little Anderlecht to Win and Over 1.5 Goals is a great play.

11pm: New York City FC v Orlando City – Orlando City and Draw

We’re heading Stateside for the final game and it should be another good one with MLS’ 2nd placed side Orlando City heading to New York City FC who sit in 7th, five points behind their opponents but with a game in hand. This looks like a tight match up between two evenly-matched teams.

And again, I think there’s value in the Double Chance market. NYC are odds on favourites here which just feels wrong when taking on a team who are five places above them in the league. Orlando’s away form is pretty decent and there’s great value in Orlando City Win or Draw Double Chance.
