It’s match day three and still very much all to play for in the group of death. France currently lead the group by a mere point, but a win for Germany against Hungary and an upset by Portugal could mean France qualify as the best third place team, absolute unadulterated madness. The Euros eh? Can’t help but love it!

After a poor display by the Portuguese (with some incredible own goals), they’ll be looking to bounce back, and no better man to lead them into a big game than Cristiano Ronaldo. Now let’s take a look at what the numbers are saying about this one!

20:00 Wednesday: Portugal v France

Double Chance – Portugal and France

Sometimes it’s too close to call, so why not add to your bet a little by allowing for either side to win! Both sides need all three points in this one, be ready for the fireworks!

Over 2.5 Goals

This is a huge game for both sides, both teams need the win and with forwards of the quality of Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema and Diogo Jota on the field, it’s safe to assume that we should expect to see plenty of goals in this one!

Kylian Mbappe to Score Anytime

Mbappe is an incredible talent, he turns up for France when they need him the most. His disallowed goal against Germany in the group stage was nothing short of mesmerising, he’ll be looking to officially open up his account in this game though. Coming up against Nelson Semedo who looked shook as a hand at mass against Germany. He’s already on the ropes and Mbappe will put him on the canvas!

Cristiano Ronaldo to Have 2 or More Shots on Target

This is just sort of standard for Ronny isn’t it? Big time games need big time players and all that jazz, and let’s be honest here, there’s no man better for a big occasion than our lad Cristiano. He’s got three goals already in the tournament and will be eager to beat Romelu Lukaku to that coveted golden boot!

Pepe to be Booked

He’s older now, tired and angry at the world (and Ruben Dias for that own goal). This will likely be Pepe’s last tournament for Portugal as he is now what, like 57 years old? Expect this man to go out with a bang, followed by the roar of an ambulance for the poor b*stard on the receiving end of it! There’s absolutely no chance he doesn’t pick up at least one yellow card at this competition at some stage and no better time then when the chips are down.
