Our tipster Colin Harvey is putting the final touches on his Euro 2020 preparations with another round of international friendlies.

5pm: Denmark v Bosnia – Denmark (-1)

Denmark could be one of the surprise packages of Euro 2020 if their form this season is anything to go by. Christian Eriksen and Co have been quietly going about an excellent campaign which has seen them lose just twice, both times to Belgium, as well as drawing with England and Germany and beating the Three Lions in the Nations League.

Not only are they in good form, but when they win they tend to win well. They’ve scored two goals or more in every one of their games this term, other than against the big boys mentioned above.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Sunday 5pm: Denmark v Bosnia
Sky Sports Red Button

They take on Bosnia in their final Euro Euro 2020 warm up and the eastern Europe side are yet to taste victory this season. It would be a big shock if they were to win for the fist time this campaign here.

They have drawn a lot of games in 2020/21 but, with Denmark the big favourites, it might pay to have a punt on the handicap markets. The hosts score plenty so we should see them pass the Denmark (-1) handicap, though the warning is that Bosnia are quite solid.

5pm: England v Romania – Under 2.5 Goals

There is no doubt that England should easily beat Romania as they wrap up their perpetrations for Euro 2020. I think we’re going to see something similar to the 1-0 victory over Austria during the week with the Three Lions just doing enough to get the job done without over-exerting themselves.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s innocuous-looking injury at the end of that game has ruled him out of the Euros and that will be front and centre of the Three Lions squad’s minds with the tournament just around the corner. England are in good form and have won their last five in a row.

Sunday 5pm: England v Romania
ITV and ITV Hub

Romania appear to be going backwards after some good form and they’ve lost three on the bounce including against Armenia and Georgia in their last two. They only lost 1-0 to Germany before that and lost all three by a single goal.

With England happy to take the 1-0 and move on with minimal fuss, I’m resisting backing them in the handicap markets here and will instead plump for Under 2.5 Goals. England could blow Romania away if they fancied it but, with their sights firmly set on bigger things, another low-scoring win will do them just fine.

Gareth Southgate

5pm: Luxembourg v Scotland

I will admit I expected Scotland to get dismantled by The Netherlands in their friendly during the week when in fact they were probably unlucky not to win after the Dutch scored and equaliser following a questionable free kick. It was an impressive display from Steve Clarke’s side who showed signs that they could outperform expectations this summer.

They’ll be expecting a big win here against Luxembourg though and, while a draw was positive on Wednesday, a repeat of that result would kill all momentum on Sunday. Given how resolute they were at the back during the week I think they should be on for a clean sheet in this one.

Sunday 5pm: Luxembourg v Scotland
Sky Sports Football

Luxembourg have only scored three goals in their last seven but did force Norway to wait until injury time to score the only goal in their 1-0 loss earlier this week. Like England, Scotland will be aiming to just do enough to get the win here.

I really like the price on offer for Scotland to win 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0 in this game. Scotland have scored in their last four but they have been a bit leaky at the back. However, with an impetus on shoring things up in defence, I think we can expect them to get a couple as they Win to Nil here.

7.45pm: Belgium v Croatia – Both Teams To Score

Both Teams To Score is a pretty good bet when Belgium face anyone decent and it paid off for us during the week. The only time this hasn’t landed in The Red Devils’ last 11 was against Belarus and… England. They have scored in all 12 games this term, conceding in nine of them.

Sunday 7.45pm: Belgium v Croatia
Sky Sports Premier League

Croatia have scored in 11 of their 12 this season, conceding in 10. It seems like they’ve gone off the boil a little since reaching the World Cup final in 2018 and they could only muster a 1-1 draw with Armenia during the week.

In a way these are two very similar teams in that they’re quite deadly going forward and about as water-tight as a sieve at the back. Both Teams to Score has landed in a grand total of 18 of these two’s combined last 24 games (75%) and is the most likely outcome in this game.
