For Friday’s football acca we’ll be taking a close look at four of the teams involved in this summer’s Euros and we’re off to South America where Brazil host Ecuador in a World Cup Qualification match.

Let’s have a look then at the teams involved and see if we can squeeze some value out of the markets.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

17:00: North Macedonia v Kazakhstan – North Macedonia to Win & Both Teams to Score

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

North Macedonia are massive favourites coming into this one. They’ve been in mighty form of late, hitting the headlines not so long ago when they beat Germany 1-2 away from home. Of their last 13 matches, they’ve only lost two and for some punters out there they’ve been labelled as potential dark horses of the tournament.

Their home record is even more impressive where they’ve won 11 of their last 15, drawing two and losing two.

Kazakhstan, on the other hand, aren’t, well, we can’t sugar coat it, they’re pretty bad. They’ve won just one of their last 10 matches. Away from home, they’ve only won two of their last 15 on the road.

However, North Macedonia don’t keep too many clean sheets, of their last 10 at home, they’ve only kept two clean sheets and Kazakhstan, for all their struggles have scored in 10 of their last 15 on the road. North Macedonia to Win and Both Teams to Score has the best value here.

19:00: Hungary v Cyprus – Hungary to Win to Nil

TV: Sky Sports Red Button

Hungary could be in for an awful time of it at the Euros. They have Portugal, France and Germany in the same group. However, they’re in pretty good shape of late, beating Turkey and Iceland over the last year or so and holding Poland to a draw as well. They’re unbeaten over their last nine matches, winning six and drawing three. The home side are massive favourites here and Cyprus have only won two of their last 14 games.

If we look at just their away games, they’ve only won three of their last 24 and most damningly of all they’ve only scored one goal over their last five on the road. Hungary to Win to Nil has the value here.

19:45: Italy v Czech Republic – Both Teams to Score: No

TV: Sky Sports Football

Italy thrashed San Marino 7-0 last Friday and will be looking for a bit more of a test here as they prepare for their opening Group A match against Turkey. The Italians are unbeaten now over their last 26 games, winning 21 and drawing the other five. Most impressively of all though, of their last six home games they’ve kept five clean sheets.

The Czechs are in decent form, they’ve won three of their last five, drawing one and losing one and will face England, Scotland and Croatia in their Group D matches. Their away form though has seen them lose three of their last five, winning the other two but failing to score in three of those. Both Teams to Score: No has the value here.

Saturday 01:30: Brazil v Ecuador – Both Teams to Score

Brazil currently top the South American qualification league with four wins from four. Ecuador aren’t far behind them in third place with three wins and one loss. They’ve not met many times over the last few years but Brazil have a great historical record against them, winning 11 of their last 12 meetings, with the other ending in a draw.

Both are in great form. Brazil have won all five of their most recent matches while Ecuador have won four of their last five, losing the other. Brazil’s home record has seen them keep three clean sheets over their last five games. However, in their five prior they only kept one.

Ecuador have scored at least two goals in four of their last five home/away games and have scored at least one in nine of their last 15 on the road. With both teams being in good goal-scoring form, particularly over their last five matches, we cannot ignore the price for Both Teams to Score.

Friday’s betting tips:

17:00: North Macedonia v Kazakhstan – North Macedonia to Win & Both Teams to Score
19:00: Hungary v Cyprus – Hungary to Win to Nil
19:45: Italy v Czech Republic – Both Teams to Score, No
Saturday 01:30: Brazil v Ecuador – Both Teams to Score
